Hi from New Zealand

My daughter and her husband from New Zealand will be living in Regina next Jan, Feb and March. As it is a work secondment their accommodation is provided. Can anyone help with suggestions as to the best type of jacket and other clothing etc to buy for their stay. Any other tips would be appreciated.

Hi people, I've just booked 3 days in Regina for a stopover enroute to the East coast of Canada in August, I'm thinking i'll go to the RCMP Museum but is there anywhere else i shouldnt miss?

Is Regina really as bad safety/crime wise as people say or is it all being blown out of proportion?

Cheers

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew where/when all the wing nights were in Regina? Also any particularly good wings or places to avoid.

Thanks,

Hey there;

I'm taking a Greyhound to Toronto, and my trip sees me stopping in Regina for nearly five hours.

So...the good question is...what to do?

This stopover is from 4:00pm to 8:50pm...that gives me plenty of time to spend, exploring, at least, the downtown core. What I'd probably want to find is a health club (like the YMCA) so that I can have a quick work out and shower...and maybe a quick bite to eat.

A coffee shop with wifi access would be great, or a cyber cafe, so that I can check my email, as well. Or an arcade with DDR, so that I can expend some extra energy.

Who knows? Even a coffee date just for the heck of it? Who's to say?

It's all good and fun, my planned trip is for the middle of August. I haven't nailed down a date yet, but that's forthcoming.

Thanks for reading, and thank you in advance for responding.

Yours sincerely,

Dizzle

My freinds and I would like to travel to Reginia for a "Girl's weekend". Where are some fun places to go? Nighclubs that are not stripper clubs would be our choice. A place for drinking and dancing with the young crowd. Any suggestions?

I'm just wondering if you checked out the RCMP Academy, Sunset Ceremony or Heritage Centre, Wascana Centre and Park, the Legislative Building, CBC, Royal SK Museum, Dunlop Art Gallery, SK Science Centre...or even any pubs, restaurants, nightclubs, spas, bowling alleys, pool halls...I think you get the picture!

My family and I are thinking of moving to Regina (work opportunity). However, we really know nothing about what it's like to live there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Looking for info on the best places to live in Regina, places to avoid, raise a family, community programs, etc. Thanks in advance...
