I'm traveling/staying in Winnipeg for awhile. I was wondering what kind of school system do they have there? For example: What are the usual hours for middle(junior) high, and high school. What are the days a week? Also, what are the grade levels in each section in school (Elementary, Junior, High)? Thank you.

Is there anything to do in Winnipeg in October (besides spectator sports and shopping)? Everything I read about to do in Winnpeg is in the summer. I'm stopping there en route to Churchhill but is it worth staying overnight?
