hi i am from greece and i have 2 questions to ask:
1) is oradea regularly connected by train with budapest and if the answer is yes,how often has trains?
2)about the real estate in romania, does anyone know if foreigners have the right to own real estate properties in romania? In most east european countries is still forbidden so i wonder if the same applies in romaina too.
(second question has not to do with oradea only it has to do with the whole country)

I'm looking for websites where I can find appartment rentals fron Oradea,
with pictures in order to start thinking in what I'm going to get, cost per
month and with good deals it doesnt matter if they are in Romanian.
Also how much does a laptop or desktop cost in Oradea, are they in monthly
payments, how much does it cost the internet conection DSL or higher. Are
appartments prepared for the strong winters, how are they maintained heated.
Is it expensive to maintain your appartment warm. Romanian classes are
expensive, how much? I'll like to learn very fast to communicate easier in
my new job.
What are the best areas to live in Oradea?

Hallo. My name is Jozef. I'm from Slovakia. My hobbies are spelology and hiking. We plan to visit Romania this july with my friend from our speleoclub Drienka (www.drienka.host.sk). I would like to ask someone from Oradea if there exists a bus link from Oradea to Beius or to Draganesti. If not, what is the departure time of the train from Oradea to Stei (via Holod). Thank you very much for informations.
Please I need help,
I don't know on what time I have the train from Oradea To Temisoari Nord, and from Temisoari Nord to Belgrade !!! Is Anybody Know That?!!!
I wish to learn more about the city and wish to know:
Is it a nice city?
Whats the place about?
Is it safe?
Is it asuitable for a western tourist?
Has it nightlife?

I wonder how toreach Oradea from my country? Sofia - Busharest - Oradea or Sofia - Beograd - Oradea? By bus/plane/train? We don't have direct busses, so which is the nearest well-known location? Thank you!!!
I go to a court house and apply there right? About how much will it cost and how long will it take? I have to leave by March 15 so if I apply now would I get my passport within 45 days? Also I'm not buying my ticket until I have my passport. Will the ticket be higher if I buy it only a few days before the flight? Thanks a lot. :)
I'm going to stay with this girl at her parents house. I meet her online almost 2 years ago on Yahoo Messenger. I have also become friends with her brother. I'm leaving sometime this March. Going to stay 2-3 weeks. I'm American and I'm flying to Budapest because its $100 cheaper than flying straight to Romania. Then I'm taking a bus to Transylvaina. A round trip ticket only costs $627 and I have about $800 dollars. Ok finally my questions. :) Should $800 be enough for this trip since I'm staying with a Romanian family instead of a hotel and she said they will take care of everything like food etc. all I have to worry about is the travel. I think I read somewhere that you have to have $100 for everyday you plan on staying in Romania to show to them or they won't let you stay there or something. So will I have to have $1400 for staying 2 weeks or $2100 for 3 weeks. I have read the reason they do that is to make sure you will have enough money to afford hotels food and travel expenses. Also what do you guys think about the whole ideal? Thanks a lot.
