Mount Rainier National Park Grove of the Patriarchs
Posted: Wed May 30, 2007 02:20 AM UTC
Hello, all. I've been trying to get an answer from the NPS, but haven't heard back yet. I'll be travelling to Mt. Rainier this week, and one of the highlights I've read about is the Grove. However, I see that Stevens Canyon Road is currently closed. The entrance to the Grove looks to be right off 123 on this road. So my question is, can you get to the Grove when SC Road is closed, or should I not plan on heading to that side of the park?

Thanks for any and all help!

Hello,

I am planning to go to Mt. Rainier NP on 4th - 6th Nov.
I know the summer is over and this is not hiking season. But I just want to go.

Can anybody suggest some reasonable lodging options (its raining - cant camp out).
Any suggestion about which trails to hike/ must visit vista points?
