I have a rather ambitious trip planned for later this month, and yesterday I called to make a reservation for a cave tour. Can anyone tell me about the Candlelight Tour, is it a good tour, fun, see lots of interesting parts of the cave? Also, earlier that day I planned on doing the Harney Peak hike, and am estimating about 3 hours for that, and then I would be going to Wind Cave for the tour. I was told I need to check in for the tour at 1:00pm, so if I left the Sylvan Lake area around 11:30am, would this be enough time to get to Wind Cave by 1? I was told not to take 87 right through Custer SP because its so slow, and take 385 instead. Would this be a good route? Any info would help very much, Thanks!!
