Will be doing a motorcoach tour thru in the spring What is the recommendation for best experiencing the Badlands. Highway 240 or 44? (considering I'd also like to visit Wall. Thanks for any info.

I plan on dropping into the Wounded Knee Museum in Wall, before making my way to the Badlands National Park. How much time would people suggest I put aside for visiting the park. I'm very interested in it and want to see as much as possible.
Ideally, I'd then keep moving towards Wounded Knee to see the memorial/cemetary. I'm staying in Hot Springs, so it would be a huge round trip, starting early in the morning. Is this plan possible? Or am I dreaming? Thanks :) |

Our kids are 6 & 8 so we won't do much hiking. Is there anything cool for kids in this national park? Anything we should particularly stop for on the drive through?
