I'm visiting Toulon for the first time .How far is the city from the airport and are there Taxis readily available ?

Our cruise ship will be docking in toulon on 31/07/11, and we would like to visit aix-en-provence and cassis.Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do in about 6 hours and how we can go about it. tks

My ship docks in Toulan next Monday. Is there a good way to see Grasse's perfume factory and back in about 4 hours?

Our ship will be in port on a Sunday....are we in walking distance to attractions and is this someth8iing we can do on our own without signing up for a tour. I have been told that many of the shops are closed on Sundays....what is there to do in toulon? Thanks

I would like to go to St. Tropez from Toulon. What is the best way without car. Can I go by boat ? How long ? And could I do it just half day trip either morning or afternoon. Or by train, by bus...How long will it take ?

Hello Toulon locals / visitors:
Please could you let me know if you know any churches that are:
- within easy access to an international airport (max 1h30 mins travel)
- picturesque, with a minister / priest that can speak English
- with hotels / apartments / gites to rent nearby
- which has a great natural landscape view outside
- good transport(public and private) available in the area

We shall be in Toulon for just one day in July 2008 . If it is possible, we would like to go by public transport to Castellet. Can anyone please help us?

Arrive in Toulon in April for the day would like to visit Toulon and go to a beach with our daughter. Are there beaches easily accessable from the port as we arrive on a ship.
Also would there be enough time for us to visit St Tropez by train
