Bike Route?? Posted: Mon August 25, 2008 11:22 PM UTC
Somewhere between Agen and Toulouse, France, there is a paved bike path that
goes into center of Toulouse. Where does this paved path begin and where
does iit end in Toulouse? Is this the best way for a cyclist to pass though
Toulouse leading onto the paved 55 kms bike beside the Canal du Midi that
eventually lands up in the Med?
Thanks for your help.

Private car with driver Posted: Wed July 16, 2008 08:27 PM UTC
I have a friend coming to visit in Bozouls. She is flying into Toulouse and would rather not wait three hours for the next train to Rodez. Does anyone know of a car service that would pick her up at the airport in Toulouse and drive the hour and a half to Bozouls?

1 day in Toulouse & somewhere to store my luggage Posted: Tue January 8, 2008 10:36 AM UTC
Hi,
I'll be arriving in Toulouse around 10am and leaving the same evening around 9pm. Apart from catching a shuttle bus to the city I haven't got any plans yet. Usually I'm better prepared, but this is a very short notice work trip. A couple of questions:
1. Is there anywhere I can leave my suitcase - airport, coach station?
2. What are some of the top things to do/see in a day?
I'll be returning a few days later and spending a week there, so hopefully will have a chance to follow up on my Toulouse-in-a-day experience.
Thanks,
Alison

roberta Posted: Thu August 16, 2007 10:16 AM UTC
Hi,
I am wondering if there is any way other than train ,to get to Montpellier. My husband could not get a flight to Montpellier,so had to get one to Toulouse. He arrives at Toulouse at 9.55 am Sunday 23rd September and needs to be in Montpellier by 1.30 or so for the rugby. There is a train that leaves for Montpellier at 10.42 but I can't imagine that would be enough time to get out of the airport(coming from gatwick,so international)in time to catch the train.Does any one know of a bus that would get him there? Thanks Roberta

Toulouse airport to Lourdes Posted: Sun April 15, 2007 05:13 PM UTC
I am planning to visit Lourdes in October. I will take Easyjet from Madrid to Toulouse. My questions are;
1. How to get from Toulouse airport to Toulouse train station? By taxi or bus? How much it costs for the taxi or bus?
2. How much is the train fare from Toulouse to Lourdes? Do I have to buy the tickets in advance or it is fine to buy it when I am already station?
3. Is it possible to return to Toulouse on the same day from Lourdes? Where can you suggest for the best overnight stay - Toulouse or Lourdes?
4. In Lourdes train station, how to get to the Lourdes church? Taxi or by foot?

Travel Toulouse to Argens Posted: Sat February 24, 2007 03:46 PM UTC
We will arrive at Toulouse airport around 10:00 am. What is best way to travel to travel to Argens by mid-afternoon? We will not be renting a car. Train to Beziers or Narbonne, then taxi (or bus) to Argens? Train to Carcassonne, then taxi (or bus)to Argens? Bus from Toulouse to Argens? train from Toulouse to Lézignan-Corbières, then taxi to Argens appears to be the best route, but what about connections to arrive by mid-afternoon?
Thanks

Apart City Hippodrome hotel Posted: Wed January 10, 2007 09:48 PM UTC
Hello,
I have booked 2 weeks at this hotel in April since it has a kitchenette and accept pets - I am relocating in the region and looking for permanent housing /visiting during that time - My questions are:
1) Is the hotel/neighborood safe? - It seems out of the way, are there local stores to get food? I will be on foot and taking public transportation to the city as well.
2) If not the best choice,(I can still cancel without penalties) - Can someone recommend something better in town perhaps (needs to have kitchenette and pet friendly). Any help would be greatly apreciated. Does anyone has a better recommendation. Thank you.

Ailes Anciennes Posted: Sun November 26, 2006 02:30 PM UTC
Good day
I am visiting Toulouse December 4-8 and would love to visit the aircraft museum located in Tooulouse - but cannot get a response when I ask on the website- I think they only open Saturdays, but I wondered if there might be soecial arrangements possible for mid-week visits. If this isn't possible, maybe soemone could tell me how I can get view the aircraft anyway? I am particularly interested in seeing the Caravelle Dakota and Bregeut- would anybody be able to let me know if I can see them through a fence or something?
Many thanks

Train from Lourdes to Nice, via Tolouse-change of train is only 12-15 minutes, is this enough time? Posted: Thu October 19, 2006 04:04 PM UTC
I saw in the train schedule from Lourdes to Nice, that there is a change of train in Toulouse but there is only 12-15 minutes interval. It would be the first time our family will be travelling to the said places. Will it be easy to find the train we will get in Toulouse for Nice?
What website can we check to see visually beforehand the station or details where to transfer in the train from Toulouse to Nice?
