Attractions

I'm travelling the u.s. at the moment and i've stopped over in Eugene/springfield, OR to see a mate for this weekend. I was wondering what are the attractions to check out? We don't have a car so a far off travel won't be possible. I'm staying in the city area.

Please advise.
