Cleveland Internet Cafés in Cleveland??
Posted: Thu October 22, 2009 06:47 PM UTC
Hi, I've just moved to the area and I need an internet café where I can scan a document. (I have a computer and internet access, but printer/scanner). All the ones I've found on the internet seem to be out of business. Does anyone know of one? I am in Beachwood, but am willing to drive to get to one. I'm having no luck!

Cleveland Van Halen Concert, Oct 10 - coming in by bus - where to eat and drink before and/or after near H.Inn
Posted: Thu September 20, 2007 06:22 AM UTC
Hi! 'Anyone going to see Van Halen on Oct. 10th at Quicken Loans Arena? (with tickets on the floor?)
My brother is taking a Greyhound in from New York and me, from Toledo. Once we meet up at the bus station we have to walk to the Holiday Inn Express (.03 mi from Quicken Loans Arena), check in, then get primed for the concert. I haven't seen him in 2 years! I can't wait.
WE don't want to spend another arm and a leg (the tickets and the hotel were a lot!) but thought we'd grab a bite and have a few drinks on the way from the hotel to the concert. Any suggestions of where to go between the hotel on Euclid St., and the Arena? Is there any place decent to eat before we leave the next day from the Greyhound station (near it)? Is that a "shady" area by any chance...? 'Think we should take a cab from there to and from the hotel, or would it be okay to walk?

If you have a seat on the floor, section 4, let me know! He'll be up by the stage and I'll be there in my seat, hopefully standing at least, but all by my lonesome. (I am 47 yrs old, not bad looking but a little extra poundage, and I'm a really nice person, and fun to go to concerts with - not too loud, but not a mealy mouse either.) I don't do mosh pits...can't breathe up there anymore. I'm still a concert aficionado, it's just that mosh pits aren't like they were in the 70's when I first started going to concerts.

Thanks for any suggestions that anyone can make to help us enjoy ourselves while we are there for just a day and a half without having to spend another 100. dollars! (Gees - the t-shirts will be another 100.00 - hope he has enough to cover it LOL!!)

Thanks for reading my post,

Cleveland One night in cleveland
Posted: Tue June 12, 2007 08:43 PM UTC
Me and my friends (three 23 year olds, one guy and two girls) will be in Cleveland for dinner and drinks on Saturday night, and some very brief sightseeing of the lake on Sunday morning.

Where should we go to see the lake?

We just want to be able to walk around the shore and take some pictures...
Is there a lakeside park that's easy to go to?? Nothing fancy.. Just some nice view.. :)

And also, I've tried looking at the map of cleveland but it seems like there are so many different districts/areas and I don't know where the "happening place" is.

Which area has the most bars/ restaurants?

Can you also recommend a jazz bar?

Thanks.

Cleveland Going to be in Cleveland next weekend
Posted: Mon January 22, 2007 05:56 AM UTC
To attend the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show...DH doesn't want to miss it. My interests, on the other hand, lie more in gardening. Does anyone have any recommendations for me on gardens, greenhouses, nurseries or botanical parks which might be worth seeing when we are there? Keep in mind that the place should be open to the public...in January (no less). Thanks for any tips or recommendations you can offer.

Cleveland where to stay??
Posted: Fri January 19, 2007 02:34 PM UTC
Hello,
I was wondering if you might help me. I am trying to decide where to stay when my family and I visit Cleveland in June. Due to the number of kids (3) my wife and I have pretty much narrowed it down to Embassy Suites (2 separate rooms in suite and free breakfast). Now we planned to take the commuter train (RTA) in and out of the city. If you were to pick one or the other would you stay in Embassy suites Rockside in Strongsville or Embassy suites Beechwood? I am looking for ease to the nearest RTA station and a safe neighborhood setting. Thank you for your help. David

Coming to Cleveland for Thanksgiving weekend to see the Cavs play (Saturday) and the Browns (Sunday) - can anyone recommend some good bars/clubs/lounges for Friday and Saturday night?

We are 28ish, looking for something fun, not super price sensitive, so give us the best you have! I'm hearing the Warehouse District is the place to be??

Cleveland Where to take Grandma
Posted: Wed October 25, 2006 03:05 PM UTC
I will be visiting my Grandmother who lives in Cleveland next weekend. I would like her to stay with me in a hotel in which we would be close to shopping, restaurants, and a cinema. I have read so many posts about the downtown areas, but an 83 year old at Hard Rock Cafe I do not think go hand in hand. I have thought about the beachwood and legacy village area... what do you think? Please provide areas, hotels in which I should book my 4 night stay. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Cleveland Public transportation
Posted: Mon August 28, 2006 06:10 AM UTC
I will be staying at the Holiday Inn Airport in Strongsville and I was wondering if I can get to public transportation from there. It looks like one of the lines run nearby but I wasn't sure that was reasonably walkable. I'd prefer not to have to pay cab prices if I can help it. Thanks.
