I haven't been on vt for a long time. But as we are planning to go to the US for the 1st time (3 weeks in May/JUne), I logged in again to ask you - the experts, for some information, which can not be found in the travel books.
Flight to NY City is booked as well as a hotel for the 1st 2 nights. We will rent a car and are interested in beautiful sites such as nature, perhaps a little bit of hiking, cities, nice places off the beaten path,... We will have about 2 weeks to travel around. It would be great if you could tell me your favourite places in the Northeast, so that we finally can plan where it is really worth to visit. |

Hi, wondering if anyone has a recommendation of where to go for a romantic weekend in the Northeast (NJ/PA/CT etc). I want to take my girlfriend on a nice/relaxing/romantic getaway sometime this month or in June. I was thinking of a nice spa/bed & breakfest type of thing.
