I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers for the best way to get from the Las Vegas Airport (LAS) to Henderson, Nevada on Lake Las Vegas. From what I understand this is just under 20 miles north of the strip in Vegas. I'm headed to the Montelago Village Resort for a wedding. I'm looking to avoid traveling 20 miles in a cab and spending too much money.
Is there a bus or something that heads up there? If so, do you know any details? bus name, number, cost, where it picks up, etc. I should say I arrive on Friday, July 4th (a holiday). So maybe there's a holiday schedule I should know about...? Any suggestions? Thank you! d |

We are in the process of looking for a vacation home in Henderson, Nevada. The location of one which we like on the internet was described as being right off the 215 at Valle Verde. Is that a "good", safe part of town? Having never been there, I'd appreciate any help.
