Does anyone know if the Beesleys Point Bridge is open yet? It was closed down for construction last year so I had to go over the 36th street bridge into Ocean City.

My family tries to visit Ocean City, New Jersey once a year. We usually go in May or September. Unfortunately, the place we rent is completely booked in both those months, and October is the first opening. I have never been to Ocean City in October, so can anyone tell me if it is a nice time to visit? Are the shops on the boardwalk open? What is the weather like?

We are new to Ocean City as a vacation spot. We would like to rent a larger home this summer. Can you please advise re: the most desirable locations (streets) for a family with 2 preschoolers? We are looking for a property on a quiet, clean day beach within easy walking distance to some evening activities.
