My husband and I planning to spend Christmas in Boone this year. We want to stay in a secluded/private mountain cabin. I have been looking on the internet and there are so many. Wanted to know if there is anyone out there that would recommend a cabin or rental company.

I am currently living in boone i would love to know i good decent place to meet new folks my Girlfriend and i are not friendless just we moved a good distance from our friends and want to find local folks to hang out with in our spare time

Can anyone tell me what are some good sites to see in Boone? I am staying at Graystone Lodge Also some reasonable price places to eat and also drink :)
