This is our second trip to Poland to do family research but we're also working on it from home thru LDS records to be sure we know what villages we want to visit. Our biggest hurdle now is getting permission to visit State Archives to look at some records while we're there....has anyone been able to do this successfully? We've contacted the Torun archives and also Koszlin archives by e-mail but have not received a response. Is permission necessary at these archives?

We are two students from Slovenia, we intend to visit Torun for three months because of a students exchange. could you please tell me what are possibilities to find an accomodation in Torun and what are the prices in Torun. How much money we need for three months? Thank you for the ansver!
