Viborg Amt Travel Forum

Anyone know, or have the bus s chedule. I'm returning to Viborg - I spent three years there as a kid while my dad was in the AirForce, I'm visiting his co-worker and family friend in Beek for a week with my girlfriend and I am trying to take a day trip to Viborg so she can see the place I "grew up." I FINALLY found out how to get there by train from Maastricht (geez, that was a pain!) and renting a car might be a bit steep, but Viborg is small enough to see by bus and bike. Speaking of which - anyone know where I can rent a bike from, too?!

I will be going to Hanstholm on December 9, 2006.

I would like to stay in a hostel, clean and preferably with own room for two. Preferably is close to the harbnour where I will be boarding the ship from Hanstholm to Bergen on the following day.

Can somebody recommend me a place please ? Thank you.

Denmark is a expensive country, but it is possible to make a cheap holliday - to be a budget traveller if you like - if you will sleep at some of the very good hostels we have. In Denmark they are named »vandrerhjem«.
Nearby Skive we have two: Stoholm Vandrerhjem about 15 km south of the city and Roslev Vandrerhjem about 15 km north of the city. Personally I only knew a little about the first one, and it is fine.
