recv'd two responses, but one did not know if we could walk to the restaurant suggested. Need more responses. No bar is fine. Need to be near water and have a nice view. very casual. moderate pricing, but good, trustworthy food!!
does anyone know about the "island shuttle"? where to get it? cost? ANY info on the above would be SO appreciated! |

Pls offer suggestions on a nice, water-view restaurant within walking distance of the Holiday Inn. VERY moderate prices==we're not drinkers, so bar not necessary!
anything else to walk to and see? any antique shops/consignment shops? any little shop streets we can walk to? is the museum worth seeing? |

We are interested in going to Solomons Island for the weekend soon and are interested in places to stay. We plan to visit the famous Tiki Bar and would like to have something nearby. The only accomodations I can see in the general area is a B&B and it is booked for all of the upcoming weekends. Any recommendations? Any ideas? Any places we definitely should stay away from?
