Has anyone seen the Makai Condos? I came across them on the web at www.makaicondos.com. I think it is where the Ramada used to be near the Convention Center in Ocean CIty. They look nice, but I was wondering if anyone has seen one?

im 23f from nj/ny...ive never been to ocean city, personally.. im going there this weekend for labor day with my friend..it is kind of last minute im hoping someone will get back to me in time...i would like a really nice place to stay at, on the water preferably, money is not an issue...i like to drink and dance but i also love the beach at day and night...boating, restaurants... i want fun spots to go out to but ones with nice toned down ambiances as well...what to do?

Does anyone know of an inexpensive hotel in OC that would be available this weekend 17-19 Aug? I have looked and looked on line and can not find anything available. Perhaps someone out there might know of place that is not advertised online... a well kept secret place! This is an last minute trip. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning on visiting OC, MD. the first week of September 2007. Does anyone know what the weather is usually like? Air and water temp, if possible.

We used to go to OC to see a band called "Why Not" almost every weekend...i'm guessing it was early 90's....anyone have any info?

I am trying to get from Ocean City to Great Mills MD which is near Lexington Park. Is there no way to avoid having to drive north to Annapolis and the south to Great Mills? No ferry or anything to cross the water? If anyone has easier directions,please help!

So...I saw that you said that you know where to party in OC. It's my first time there. I am going with my boyfriends family. While we will be there my boyfriend will be turning 21. Since he can't spend it with his friends I want to make it an awesome and memorable experience for him!!! Do you know of any bars where he will have a blast and they will treat him like a rock star?

I am going to Ocean City at the end of July, i've never been there, and I'm curuios is it possible to rent ski boats or Jet skis? If so, any recommendations?

After a lengthy search online, I've not been able to find the OC beach laws. What are the laws concerning grilling on the beach? Special locations? Stupid question?

Hi, my family and i are planning another trip to Ocean City, but now we have a dog and we can not leave him while we're on vacation. Can someone recommend a place for us to stay that allows pets?

i was on vaca in ocean city, md a lil over 2 years ago. i hate tattoos, but my girl talked me into getting a henna, just to see what it was like. so we went to one of those shirt stores that have hennas too. i found the perfect one, and now i want to get it as a real tattoo. i can't find it anywhere and am trying to find the store. there are so many that it is pretty hard to find. all i remember is that i stayed at the quality inn at 17th/boardwalk. and the place was about a block away. i think between 16th and 15th on the boardwalk. can anyone help me find the place/or number to the place so i can call and ask them about it. thx.

I have vacationed in the Wildwoods and I am not too happy with the direction the island is going....hotel rooms turned into condos, vacation cottages torn down for townhomes...etc.
I have not been to Ocean City, MD but I am interested in vacationing there if it is like OLD wildwood.

Anyone know anything about this band which use to appear in Ocean City regularly every year? (yea, showing my age!!)

My extended family and I will be going to Ocean city the second week of October for vacation. We believe we have narrowed our choice of hotels down to one, the Castle in the SAnd. I am looking for any comments on the place, good and bad. We do not get to go on many vacations and we want this one to be enjoyable. My grandfather is wheelchair bound and therefore will be spending more than the usual time in the hotel. Because of this, we want to be sure to get a nice room. We definetly plan on getting a oceanfront room. The balcony has to be large enough for his chair to go out on. We don't want to end up staying in a dump. we want a nice clean, large, and pleasant room. Any thoughts on this place or suggestions for a better place are welcome. Thank you.

My parents, grandparents, and us are going to ocean city in October. We all are looking forward to this alot. It has been quite awhile since we had a family vacation. I am in need of suggestions for things to do. My grandfather had a stroke 4 years ago and is now in a wheelchair. We wish to include him in as much as we can. He has not been on vacation since his stroke. Some of his interests include wildlife, outdoors and eating. Any ideas on places that we can take him are very welcome. It needs to be wheelchair accessible. There will also be children, so, any suggestions for them are welcome. Thank you in advance.

We are a family of 5 looking for a reasonable place to stay, Doesn't have to be fancy or near Boarwalk. Most of the hotels on boardwalk of low rates are booked for 8-15 and on. Know of any place near? Is it a good Idea to look when we arrive? First time at Ocean City.

Hey I have a question about crabbing,
( I hope this has something to do with travel to Ocean City, if not, I'm sorry.)

I'm going on a summer mission trip to Ocean City for the surf and sand clubs. For one of the skits I have to do I have to be a crabber and since Maryland is (supposedly, I don't know but I'll try some crab while I'm there) the king of crab I thought one of you might be able to tell me regulations for crabbing in Maryland and how you crab, what you need, etc.

I am interested in a cheaper place for my family to stay in OC. I really wanted a stove in my place and cannot find many hotels/motels with one. Barefoot Beachcomber offers a stove. We wanted to try and save on money by cooking meals in our place.

What has anyone's experience been like there?
Are the rooms nice?
