Shoping Posted: Wed June 25, 2008 04:04 PM UTC
Hello!
28 june I will go to Poznan for 10 days. Would like to do some shoping there as city is great for that. Where can I buy good clothes and shoes of Polish brands? (not Reserved, Cropp town --> they are also in my country).
Also interested in Polish made kitchen appliances - mixers, cordless kettles etc (for example "Zelmer")?
Thanks:)

Bus station, shoping in Poznan, Poland Posted: Sat July 7, 2007 08:16 PM UTC
Hello,
Next week im going to Poznan. I will go from Tallinn to Warsaw. Is it cheaper to go by bus or train from Warsaw to Poznan? Do Poznan bus and railway stations locate far from city centre/down-town?
I would like to ask also, where large shoping centres/hypermarkets (Real, Geant...) are situated in Poznan? I am interested in buying different products made in Poland (clothes, cosmetics, electronics...)
Thank you!!:)

Poznan, Poland - tourist attractions etc Posted: Wed June 13, 2007 11:27 AM UTC
Hi!
I will visit Poznan in July for a week. What would you recomend me to visit in this city?
I have been to Poznan, but only outside old town and downtown. I want to see old town and nice architecture in other parts of the city, want to do pictures of it and people.
What town/village/place is worth a visit near Poznan? Wrzesnia? Komorniki? Suchy Las? Kornik?
Are there city beaches (on river, lakes)?
Thanks:)

My friend and I are going to Poznan for New Years Eve, and wondered if you could recomend some lively bars for us to drink in?
Preferably in the old town as that's where we'll be staying.
Cheers,

We will be visiting the Poznan area at the end of April 2006.
Can someone please tell me if the Poznan area is flooded, or is it expected to be flooded? Is it still possible to visit the area or will this be too difficult?
Thanks!

Hello Folks
I am travelling to Poznan in the winter months..only going to be there for 3 days! But looking at some of your posting on this web site it seems that 3 days could be too long!??
If this is the case, then any towns or cities NEARBY that we can visit? Already been to Krakow...and do not want to travel too far from Poznan as our flight back to uk is from Poznan.
Also what is the shopping like (yes me is a female and I do like shopping!!!)
cheers

Poznan, POLAND: hostel, shopping centres, sights... Posted: Thu August 11, 2005 09:29 AM UTC
Hi.
Poznan is one of the cities I will visit on my Western Europe trip.
I have some questions, if anybody can help..
Does anybody know where hostel "Hanka" (Biskupinska street 27) is located? In which district? Is it far from the city centre?
Are there internet-clubs in the city what are open in evening? I need to put pictures from my camera to computer and record pics to CD.
Where are the shoping centres located? When do the going closed?
What sights are must see in the city (old town, Ostrow Tumski,..)?
If anybody can help me on some of this questions, please answer so quickly as you can.
Many many thanks!

Trying to find Polish relatives Posted: Tue March 1, 2005 09:10 PM UTC
I am going to Poland (Warsaw)soon to try to trace my Polish roots. The Family name is Bialynski.
I recently discovered that my grandfather was born in the Pozan area, in a place called CISZKOW.
I know that in 1990 there were around 26 people of that name in Poznan. Can anyone tell me how I can go about finding them?
If only one of them turns out to be family I would be so happy!
Thanks for any help or tips in my quest.
