Monaco Wash/dry/fold laundry services available?
Posted: Sun April 8, 2007 09:39 PM UTC
We will be staying in Monte Carlo for 1 week and then venturing on to Tuscany for another week. We'd like to find a shop where we can bring our clothes and have them laundered overnight, so that they will be fresh for the second week of our trip. Does anyone know any facility like this in Monte Carlo area? Thank you!

Posted: Sun March 18, 2007 09:24 PM UTC
We will be passing through Monaco and want to see the tourist sites. We would like to store our large suitcases. Are there lockers available at the Monaco train station? Or is there a luggage storage desk/service?

Monaco Grand Prix seats
Posted: Thu March 1, 2007 07:51 AM UTC
I am a South African GP fan heading off to watch the Thursday practice session at the Monaco Grand Prix this year. Any advice on seating. The seating at the corner after the tunnel is fully booked. Any suggestions? How important is having a big screen TV visible from the seats?

Monte-Carlo Dinner in Monte Carlo on Sunday?
Posted: Wed February 28, 2007 08:15 AM UTC
Hi all,
We are spending 1 night in Monte Carlo next June, but it's gonna be Sunday and most places are closed :(

Anyone can recommend a good place (and not extremely expensive) to have dinner on Sunday night? We are staying in Port Palace Hotel, but the restaurant in the hotel is a bit too expensive for our budget..
Thanks!

Monaco Monaco in September
Posted: Wed February 7, 2007 11:01 PM UTC
If we arrive at Marseille at 9:00 A.M., (disembarking from our cruise ship for some land excursion), it is possible for us to drive to MonteCarlo, do a little sightseeing and then head back to the port (in time for the sailing at 7:00 P.M.)? How long is the drive from Marseille to MonteCarlo? If this is possible, do you have any suggestions where we can get a rental (a van w/ driver) that would be waiting for us at Marseille? I could imagine this would be expensive, so maybe we can just rent a van and do the driving ourselves.
In any case, I still would need help/advice/suggestions. PLEASE!

Many thanks,
Rory

Monaco Monaco Tourist train
Posted: Mon February 5, 2007 10:21 PM UTC
When you reach Monaco on the No. 100 bus what is the best stop to get off to catch the Tourist train? Is it far from the bus stop? Are you allowed to get off the train and back on again with the same fare, or can you only board at the beginning of the tour?. Thans for your help.

Monaco Trains from Italy?
Posted: Mon January 29, 2007 01:29 AM UTC
We are planning a trip for late March to travel around Northern Italy and we would love to take a train from either Pisa or Genova to Monaco. Our destination is not important, be it, Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes. We want to see all of these places. We have not been able to find any applicable train information. Does anyone have any advice?

any links, durations, and costs would be VERY helpful.

Thank you

Monaco The statue of Grimaldi posing as a monk
Posted: Mon January 15, 2007 12:09 AM UTC
I'm going to Monaco in June and I am wondering if I can purchase small statuettes of the statue of Grimaldi posing as a monk somewhere in Monacao or at the palace itself? I collect souvenirs no bigger than 2 and a half inches high that I use as chess pieces and this would be perfect. If you have been there and know anything about where I might be able to buy something like this, please let me know. Thanks,
Scott
