Hi There,
I have a reservation at the Hilton Kauai in a ocean front room and a 1 bedroom villa at the Mariott Kauai Beach Club...Can't decide where to stay...each property seems to have its pro's and con's ...does anyone know any of the two? can you recoomommend one over the other? |

I will be staying on Kauai for 3 months to work. Any ideas on long term car rental? Are there any locally owned rental car places that use older model cars? I heard that you can buy an older model car cheap, and resale when I leave, any truth to that?

If I want to get to Kapaa from the Lihue Airport, is there any reason why I can't just hop on any hotel's airport shuttle and pick up public transportation to my real destination (a youth hostel) once I reach the hotel?
