Don't know if anyone out there can help. We're planning on staying around Stone Mountain and we're looking for somewhere to stay that is interesting with interesting places to stroll around (don't want to do too much driving) bars, restaurants and shops should therefore be walkable.
Someone on Trip Advisor said that the area around Stone Mountain Village isn't nice, but I've read elsewhere that it's quite a quaint old spot. Which is right? We were looking to stay at Silver Hill Manor, so if anyone knows anything about that too, I'd welcome feedback. The other alternative is to stay at the Marriott in the park, but you're kind of stuck there at night....
