I would like to avoid the international transaction fees on my card. Has anyone purchased a CaraVital feel good programme the day of? We will only be in Baden- Baden for 2 days so it might be necessary to do this in advance. Has anyone purchased the feel good programme online with the electronic vouchers option?

We will be visiting Baden-Baden on Sunday, May 18th. There are races on this day, we have never been to the horse races and are not sure what to expect. Should we buy the tickets at the facility or make reservations? What kind of dress can we expect? We have dinner reservations at the Zum Alde Got and where hoping to do some wine tasting prior to dinner. Any recomendations for vineyards?

Hi Everyone,
I will be celebrating my 10 year anniversary in Baden-Baden, unfortunately I only have one night and want to make the most of it. We will be arriving in the early morning to partake of the Friedrichsbad spa before checking into our hotel. Problem is I haven't booked a hotel yet or made dinner reservations. I really want this to be romantic, any suggestions?
Thanks!!

lockers at the train station of Baden-Baden? Posted: Wed May 7, 2008 08:44 PM UTC
I'm arriving to Baden Airpark for the VT Euromeet 2008 in Karlsruhe (yay yay yayyyy!!)
as my plane arrives late morning on Thursday, I was thinking of spending a few hours exploring Baden-Baden. I was wondering if there are lockers at the train station of Baden-Baden for storing my bag, so I could do some sightseeing before getting to Karlsruhe
Anyone does know? Or other alternatives?
Thanks! :)

Question about Caracalla spa Posted: Sun March 11, 2007 03:45 PM UTC
Has anybody had a massage there? We plan on visiting twice; once to soak in the spas, and again for the massage. I have signed up for Harmony for two package which is KneippVital treatment, an Emperor’s Bath and a massage from head to toe. Not sure what KneippVital treatment is. Is it customary to tip for these services?

Need Advice and tips Posted: Sun November 26, 2006 07:18 PM UTC
Hi I and 2 other friends are going to Baden-Baden during christmas time to witness the chirstmas market festival. My current propose plan is flying from London City to Stuttgart, then taking the train from Stuttgart Airport to Baden Baden on 23th of Dec (any idea how mcuh is the train ticket?). May I know how far is Baden Baden town center from the Baden train station and what bus should I take. I would like to know if there is any train and bus operate during 25th the CHristmas day? This is because I may want to go other towns for a visit. I heard some suggestion of Strassburg in France, I have checked that we can arrive there by train from Baden-Baden. But I'm uncertain if the strassburg station is within the city center and how much the ticket costs? Do you think one day is enough for sightseeing in strassburg? I am planning to fly back to london on the 27th of Dec from Stuttgart.
Any advices? Feel free to drop any suggestions?
Many thanks.

New Year's Eve? Posted: Fri November 26, 2004 11:22 AM UTC
My girlfriend and I will be staying in Baden Baden for a few days over New Year to chill out after Christmas.
Can anyone recommend a bar or a club for the evening? Somewhere lively, with a good mix of music, where we won't be made to feel uncomfortable as foreign tourists. We're in our thirties, so we're not ready for early nights just yet, but we don't want a place filled with 15 year olds.
We're staying somewhere in the town centre so we'd prefer to avoid trying to get a taxi anywhere.
Thanks and I'll try to post a review on my VT page when we get back.

Baden-Baden connections with France Posted: Wed July 28, 2004 10:47 AM UTC
Hello,
I live in London and I need to be in Gerardmer in France at the end of january. The cheapest solution for me is to travel to Baden-Baden airport with Ryanair.
I saw on internet that Strasbourg was 70km away from Baden-Baden. Is there a bus or a train that connects Baden-Baden and Strasbourg? Or even better Baden-Baden to Epinal in the Vosges? What's the url for coach transport in Germany?
I also saw there was a train Banden-Baden to Paris, where can I get its trajectory? So that I can see in which towns this train stops.
Thanks in advance. regards Alexandra

Honeymoon in Germany Posted: Tue October 14, 2003 12:02 AM UTC
Hello all,
My wife and I will be traveling in Europe for three weeks on our honeymoon. We plan on spending some time in Germany, specifically at Baden-Baden. We will be there during the Christmas - New Year season. Any lodging recomendations? Also, are there any special events at Baden-Baden on Christmas or Christmas Eve? Or on New Year's Eve and Day? Any other advice or recommendations regarding Baden-Baden would be great. Thanks.
