I have been looking at the website for the I-Trolley in Orlando but don't seem to be able to find the answer to my question. So I wondered if anybody could help please. Is it possible to reach the Universal theme parks by using the I-trolley?

Hi,
I'm going to Orlando next month and I used a car rent quote search and Fox Rent a Car appeared with a great deal for 5 days, almost half price compared to Dollar or Thrifty.
Does anybody have an opinion, experience or comments on this rental?
Do I have to pay attention on something like insurance or anything else that makes the difference?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Rafa

After coming back from a cruise in May, I'm guessing we may have an hour or two to kill between Port Canaveral and the Orlando Airport. Any suggestions? I will be traveling with the family. I'm thinking either some scenery/wildlife areas near the coast, or maybe a nice fun shopping/restaurant area somewhere along the way to the airport.

I am planning a trip to Walt Disney World. I have visited before and have stayed in Disney hotels but unfortunately the prices seem to go up and up and at the moment are out of my budget. So we are having to look at a different type of holiday this time. I am looking for a hotel just outside of Disney, maybe in the Downtown Disney/Lake Buena Vista area (but further afield if cheaper is a possibility). Does anybody have any recommendations? In particular I am interested to know how the scheduled transport to parks works. Are the buses that these hotels provide, regular links in the way that the Disney buses run? Or do you have to pre-book your seats? Do the buses just run once or twice to each park per day or are there several opportunities to take a bus? I would hope to visit Seaworld or Universal as well as all of the Disney parks but Disney would be our priority. Obviously we could hire a car but we have enjoyed using the Disney transportation in the past and are not sure if having to drive everywhere would take some of the relaxation away from our holiday. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you :o)

Hi,
We have booked to go to Disneyworld in September, for 14 nights, but whilst we are there we would like to visit a number of the other attractions in the area. We've found information about combi tickets for the other parks, but we're really struggling to find information about transportation between disney and the surrounding parks. We've considered a car, but we are, as yet, unsure about this, if anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi....I have a little girl who is now 48" in height. What rides can she go on and are there any rides that she is too short for? I have searched online, but I can't find a definitive guide that is simple to use. I would really appreciate some advice from somebody who knows.
Many thanks in advance.

4 grandparents, 2 grandchildren, staying three nights and two days on the disney world site but with a car. from a visit 30 years ago, i remember absolutely awful food regardless of price.
as suggested here on vt, we will not have the dining plan.
there appear to be several signature restaurants which seem awfully expensive with menus whose sophistication seems excessive for the possible skills of the kitchen. are these any good?
where do you recommend to eat in disney world at a more reasonable price or do you suggest taking the car out in the evening and going elsewhere to eat, and if so where?
appreciate your help. n.

Thinking of staying 2 nights in one of the themed hotels. We want the cheapest one that has your room overlooking the wild animals roaming about. Is that one going to be the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Savannah room)? The rates for the 24th and 25th are running around $566 per night: is that the norm or can I get a better deal if I wait? Any senior rates? Any better deals elsewhere?

We will be cruising to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. Our ship will arrive back to port ~7:30am on a Wednesday (according to the itinerary). We have a flight out of Orlando at 3:50pm that same day and we are planning to rent a car. Will we have time to visit the Kennedy space center that same day with the kids before getting back to the Orlando airport for our flight?

My wife and I are planning a vacation in Orlando sometime in May. We also intend to visit Washington DC; we have the option of flying from Orland to DC, or to drive with a rented car, which I am more inclined to do since we would like to see places along our route, and may also be cheaper option.
Would be glad of someone could advise the driving distance (and time), and also the pros and cons of driving. Thanks.

I will be Orlando for 10 days. I am staying in Marriott, seaworld for 4 days and I don't need car for these 4 days. But they charge $15 for parking.
If i rent a car for 6 days, it is costing me around $220. (plus i have to drop the car at the airport and take a cab to go to hotel and back to the airport, this will be another $70 [30+30+10 for cab).
If i rent a car for the entire trip, it will be $275. So, except the parking fees, it is coming out even with both of the options and i will have car if needed.
i prefer renting out the car for the entire trip if i can find cheaper parking options near Marriott hotel. Hotel location is:
Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorldŽ
6677 Sea Harbor Drive ˇ Orlando, Florida 32821 USA

Hello. We will be meeting friends in Orlando this April and they are booked at Port Orleans French Quarter. So it would be very convenient if we book in the same resort too. The problem is we are a family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids ages 14,12 and 9) and the hotel tells us that we should get 2 rooms which busts our budget. Would anybody know if we can sneak in our youngest without telling the front desk?
My concern if we sneak in the 5th one is they might check when we board the free shuttle from airport to resort and from resort to theme parks, and cause problems.
Thanks in advance.
Jenny

going to WDW in July for 4 days. Which parks, in what order and how many days to devote to each park do you recommend? Since we are frm Cali and go to Disneyland every year, would the Magic Kingdom be so similar that we should skip it and spend a day at one of the other parks (epcot, animal kingdom) that we don't have here in Cali?
Thanks in advance!

I am visiting Florida shortly and do not wish to drive a car during the visit.
To hire a taxi would be too expensive.
Would you please tell me whether there is shiuttle bus service between Orlando and St.Pete's Beach?
Any general information would also be appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi,
I'm planning a family trip to Orlando next May and I have one major question:
- Pros and Cons of staying inside the Parks. Does it include the park tickets or do we have to pay anything else?
My first choice was to rent a house just outside the parks as we are 7 adults and 3 kids but somebody told me about lodging inside and now I don`t know what to do.
Thanks in advance,
Rafa

Okay I need some advice. I've never flown at Christmas time and I've never experienced being in a busy airport.
My return flight is on Dec 25th at 3:50pm out of Sanford (SFB) going to Plattsburgh (PBG). The airport is a 1 hour drive from my hotel. Does anyone know if the Sanford aiport gets crazy busy or is it dead on that date? And what time should I schedule my transportation for pick up from my hotel?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have to go to orlando for work but I do have a day off to myself. So my question is which hotel would be best considering I need a suite, so an extra room for meetings and work, but somewhere that isn't too far from the parks, and while we're on the parks, I only have one full day day so for a guy in his late 30's which park would you recommend. Definitely not into the Disney stuff maybe universal studios?
Thanks for all you tips in advance.

Hi, planning to visit Orlando in May. We are 2 Adults & 2 Kids (13 & 9). This is our first visit to US/Orlando and am confused regarding the time that we need to spend at Orlando. Intend to stay at Sheraton Vistana Resort but not sure if I should book for one week or two. Will be highly obliged to get some assistance regarding the same and the things to do if we stay for 2 weeks. Thanks in advance.
