looking for a hand-painted tux shirt in Key West Posted: Tue June 23, 2009 12:58 PM UTC
Last January while on a cruise, I bought a hand-painted tuxedo shirt at a shop off the beaten track. I chose a hibiscus and it's gorgeous. Now other people want to order one, but I can't remember the name of the store. All I remember is it was basically a men's tuxedo rental/sale store in a little section of stores a few blocks away from Duval. If anyone can get me their email address, I (and lots of friends) would be very grateful.

Name of the store? Posted: Wed June 3, 2009 01:08 PM UTC
A member posted a picture of a store that has definitely curb appeal. My friend bought a hanging lighted star and can't remember the name of the store. I'm sure it is the picture posted by another member that has many lighted lanterns that can be seen in the store front. I really would like to know the name of this store so I can contact them. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it as I am very interested in purchasing one or more of their items. There is no other store on Duval Street that has lots of colorful lighted various items that can been seen, the only thing she can remember is the location is sort of in the middle of Duval St.
Thanks
Sheila

Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street Posted: Thu May 28, 2009 02:00 PM UTC
We just came back from Key West. Everything was wonderful except the experience with the Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street. The food and place were very poor with little "Seafoof". The price was very high and they put 15% tip on your bill. Next time, when you are in Key West, be aware the Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street.

We will be staying near the "Green Parrot Bar" and would like to get some groceries...breakfast cakes, snacks, soda, and a box of wine. Any suggestions? I know Walgreens is around the corner, but will they carry the box wine?

beach safety Posted: Sun February 22, 2009 03:05 AM UTC
Any tips for not getting your things stolen at the beach? I am going with just my husband and would hope we could swim together but I didn't know how safe it was to leave your belongings on the beach. Do any beaches have lockers?
Will the beaches be unbearable or overly crowded in July?
Thanks for your help!

Key West: Crowded in March? Posted: Fri January 23, 2009 09:18 PM UTC
My Boyfriend and are heading to Key West the last week of March. We have been once before, but on a cruise and were only there for a day. I was wondering what the tourist traffic was like during that time. Is it generally crowded? Also any recommendations on what we should do while we are there. We are in out mid twenties and very active. Thanks for the help!

Question on camping limitations Posted: Wed January 14, 2009 09:56 PM UTC
Some of my friends and I are interested in camping in the dry tortugas. Ive researched it for the past week and have answered most of my questions, but some questions remain blank.
What is the max number of nights you can camp there?
Are you limited to just camping on one island?
What areas am i allowed to spearfish?
Is the use of scuba gear permitted?
Thanks for your help!

Christmas in Key West Posted: Sat November 29, 2008 10:09 PM UTC
Traveling to Key West 12/24/08 for 4 days with husband, parents and 2 teenagers. What can you recommend to do during this time to keep us in the Christmas spirit. Anything unique to a Key West Christmas? Also looking for Christmas Eve services for a unique or quaint experience.
Thanks so much from a polar bear family looking to bask in the sunshine for the holidays

Snorkeling Posted: Tue November 11, 2008 12:19 AM UTC
My husband and I will be traveling to the Keys next week. WE are bringing our own snorkel gear and would like to know what areas can we reach on our own. We plan to do a couple of boat snorkel tours, but we really like to get out and explore on our own. Are there easy places to reach, and can you name a few.
Thanks

Very budget accomodations in Key West area Posted: Wed October 29, 2008 06:59 PM UTC
Any recommendations on budget accomodations in KW area? Hostels, motels, budget hotels? We'll be there Thanksgiving Wknd. We have a car. Doesn't need to be fancy. Just a clean bed and shower.
Unfortunately, The Gardens Hotel and Almond Tree Inn are out of our price range. :(
Is it better to stay outside of KW and just drive in? Everything seems to be walking distance so can we see KW in one day and leave or should we stay overnight?

Powerboat Racing Posted: Wed October 1, 2008 06:34 PM UTC
My husband and I were planning to come down Sunday, November 2, 2008.
Is it just crazy there?? Are shops, restaurants open on Sundays?
I am afraid that the power boat races are possibly going to take over our Key West experience.... Is this what will happen if we come down on that date???

Dry Tortugas or John Pennekamp State Park Posted: Fri September 19, 2008 07:24 PM UTC
HI. My husband and I are driving down from Ft. Lauderdale to the Keys during the first week in November. Our funds are very limited soo....my question is... Because of Your experiences, If you had to pick one, which would it be? Dry Tortugas or John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo..???
I thought of either spending money on a Seaplane for 1/2 a day in the Dry Tortugas. Or spend money diving in Key Largo... It's a hard choice.. :(
