Posted: Fri September 11, 2009 06:24 PM UTC
Hi! I am planning on coming down for FF this year, it will be my first time. I have tried to read all I can about it and its making me get excited!!! For those of you who have been there before can you tell me how the parking situation goes and if it would be suitable to sleep in the car? I know that sounds like not a lot of fun but its what we are considering at the moment. We are driving from south Fl (about 4 hours). And any other tips you have would be appriciated!
THANKS!!!!!!!!

Key West Hotel/Motel availability in mid August?
Posted: Tue August 4, 2009 05:42 PM UTC
We will be driving to Key West for a few weekdays in Mid August but are uncertain of the exact dates.

Do we need to book a room in advance, or will there be plenty available when we get there? Not looking for anything fancy, just clean and convenient.

Key West looking for a hand-painted tux shirt in Key West
Posted: Tue June 23, 2009 01:58 PM UTC
Last January while on a cruise, I bought a hand-painted tuxedo shirt at a shop off the beaten track. I chose a hibiscus and it's gorgeous. Now other people want to order one, but I can't remember the name of the store. All I remember is it was basically a men's tuxedo rental/sale store in a little section of stores a few blocks away from Duval. If anyone can get me their email address, I (and lots of friends) would be very grateful.

Key West Name of the store?
Posted: Wed June 3, 2009 02:08 PM UTC
A member posted a picture of a store that has definitely curb appeal. My friend bought a hanging lighted star and can't remember the name of the store. I'm sure it is the picture posted by another member that has many lighted lanterns that can be seen in the store front. I really would like to know the name of this store so I can contact them. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it as I am very interested in purchasing one or more of their items. There is no other store on Duval Street that has lots of colorful lighted various items that can been seen, the only thing she can remember is the location is sort of in the middle of Duval St.
Thanks
Sheila

Key West Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street
Posted: Thu May 28, 2009 03:00 PM UTC
We just came back from Key West. Everything was wonderful except the experience with the Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street. The food and place were very poor with little "Seafoof". The price was very high and they put 15% tip on your bill. Next time, when you are in Key West, be aware the Seafood Buffet Restaurant on Devel Street.

Key West beach safety
Posted: Sun February 22, 2009 04:05 AM UTC
Any tips for not getting your things stolen at the beach? I am going with just my husband and would hope we could swim together but I didn't know how safe it was to leave your belongings on the beach. Do any beaches have lockers?

Will the beaches be unbearable or overly crowded in July?

Thanks for your help!

Key West Key West: Crowded in March?
Posted: Fri January 23, 2009 10:18 PM UTC
My Boyfriend and are heading to Key West the last week of March. We have been once before, but on a cruise and were only there for a day. I was wondering what the tourist traffic was like during that time. Is it generally crowded? Also any recommendations on what we should do while we are there. We are in out mid twenties and very active. Thanks for the help!

Key West Question on camping limitations
Posted: Wed January 14, 2009 10:56 PM UTC
Some of my friends and I are interested in camping in the dry tortugas. Ive researched it for the past week and have answered most of my questions, but some questions remain blank.

What is the max number of nights you can camp there?

Are you limited to just camping on one island?

What areas am i allowed to spearfish?

Is the use of scuba gear permitted?
Thanks for your help!
