November in Daytona Beach Posted: Mon August 29, 2005 08:35 PM UTC
My husband and I will be going to Daytona Beach for four days over Veteran's Day weekend in November. What kind of weather can we expect then? Will it be warm enough to do the beach? And,lastly, can anyone recommend some romantic restaurants in the area? We'll have a car and don't mind travelling a bit.
TIA.

visiting for first time Posted: Tue April 12, 2005 07:14 PM UTC
Hi
I will be visiting Florida in August. 6 nights Orlando, 4 nights Fort Lauderdale and 4 nights Daytona Beech. Having read the info on here I am now wondering if I am visiting during the huricane season. We are a family of 4 where the 2 childre are not children as they will be 16 and 18!!!
What does everyone suggest we do in each place apart from Universal Studios etc. My daughter wants to swim with dolphins, my husband drive a racing car at Daytona, my son scubadiving and for me my dream is out of this world...... to experience total weightlessness in space on the space shuttle or space station!!! (nothing too adventurous!!)
Any information gratefully received.

Is Daytona Beach allowing thongs on the beach for year 2005??? Posted: Tue March 1, 2005 02:35 AM UTC
The following statement was on this forum September 6, 2003.
Is it still true?????
What is the "anti-nudity ordinance"???
Skimpy beachwear, such as a thong, is OK on the beach itself, but cover up if you stroll into restaurants and gift shops -- Daytona sometimes enforces its anti-nudity ordinance.

Spring Break 2005 Posted: Wed February 9, 2005 02:12 AM UTC
6 friends and I have reserved a room at the Comfort Inn and Suites (only supposed to have 4 per room but were high school kids, so were broke). We are all 18 and Im wondering how strict Daytona is on the drinking age. How old do you have to be to get in most clubs? Are the hotels strict on having to many people in the room? Would you recomend Daytona as a good high school spring break spot?

Cheap stay ... Posted: Tue June 29, 2004 09:00 AM UTC
Hello, I might come to Daytona next week (to see a friend) but the problem is that the hotels are a little too expensive for me as a student. Consequently I'd like to know whether anyone of you knows a cheaper possibility or whether someone is interested in hosting a 19-year-old German for 2 weeks. Contact me for further questions. Thanks!
