What is your opinion of the shuttle ride from Ventura to the Chumash casino?

Also, what is your opinion of that particular casino?

My husband and I are staying in Ventura for the weekend this coming weekend - arriving Saturday morning and leaving Sunday afternoon/evening. We are staying at Bella Maggiore for our anniversary. Can anybody give me any additional info about Bella Maggiore? We have a suite and I'm wondering if anybody knows what the suites are like? Also, what would be something fun for us to do (we're relatively young, so nothing too boring :) - I'm 26 and my husband is 27). Also, I am looking for recommendations for a nice, romantic restaurant. I am looking for something where we could get a little dressed up and not be out of place - not anything formal, but I'd like to wear a dress and have my husband wear slacks and a dress shirt.
Any help would be appreciated.

We're coming to visit in July and I'd like to go out to Channel Islands. Can anyone report on which island we should visit? I've also noticed that there's a whale watching cruise but we're not sure if there are really that many whales in the area to make it worth it. Has anyone been out there in late July?

There used to be a great coffeeshop in Ventura called the Foglifter. Last time I went there in February, I couldn't find it - has it moved or is it gone completely? Anyone know? Thanks
