Best "Party Pool"? Posted: Sun April 5, 2009 02:49 AM UTC
Any recommendations for a hotel/resort with a wild & crazy pool scene?
Water volleyball would be a plus, but is far from necessary.

back again!!! Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 11:09 PM UTC
Hi, back again!!
I've noticed that hotels are either near W Arenas Rd such as Desert Hills Hotel, or lower down on E palm canyon drive, such as Desert Riviera Hotel.
Where would you advise to stay that is near everything?
Thanks for your help

What will be open 13 July onwards please Posted: Fri May 25, 2007 06:29 PM UTC
Hi there, we have been before to Palm Springs, think it was August last time but we are coming over 13 July this time.
We went to the Lord Fletcher Inn before. Will it be open. I have heard many restaurants are shut at this time of year. If there are any that are good and are open please let us know.
Also, apart from Vons are there any small shops to buy things for the home, i.e. meat, veg etc.for the BBQ
Thanks for any advice.
Thanks. Jane and Martyn in England

NEED YOUR RECOMMENDATION Posted: Tue September 26, 2006 12:13 AM UTC
We are a couple of retirees. Normally would love to visit places where there are military heroes around. I feel safer intermingling with them. Question is: Would you recommend a nightclub where marines frequent? I am a retired military person.

Travel to PS with mother and aunt Posted: Sun August 28, 2005 05:34 AM UTC
Hello, I would like to take my mother and aunt out on their birthday Oct 9. We will be in town from Oct 4 to Oct. 12. They will be turning 75 and 67 years old. Can anyone suggest a place we might go for dinner and entertainment? Are there clubs for the mature set that might be fun? Dancing would be nice, as they are both, and me too, good dancers. Are there dinner shows anywhere? Waiting anxiously as I want to plan something special for them. Thank you.
