Does anyone know what the Trumbull Lake campground is like? Are there better campgrounds in the area between Trumbull & Mammoth Lakes?

Thanks

Mammoth Lakes Hot Creek?
Posted: Thu July 26, 2007 07:42 AM UTC
Is Hot Creek still closed to bathing and swimming? We were planning a trip and this was a stop on our list. I would love to sit in the Hot Springs after all the hiking we will be doing on our weeks vacation! Thank you for all your help!

Mammoth Lakes Hiking in Ansel Adams Wilderness
Posted: Thu January 12, 2006 09:27 PM UTC
I'm planning a trip to Yosemite-Mammoth Lakes in June, and will probably be in Mammoth Lakes in late June. At the moment, I've planned to do a very long day hike to Thousand Island Lake, but I'm not sure of that is possible, so could anyone give me an estimation of the time needed to hike there? Or would Garnet Lake be a better choice? Lastly, how much snow will be around that elevation in late June? Thanks.

Mammoth Lakes Please recommend a cabin near a beautiful lake

My husband, my daughter and her friend (and possibly our dog) will be traveling to Mammoth Lakes in a couple of weeks. Can anyone recommend a nice cabin that is on one of the beautiful lakes in the area?

Mammoth Lakes Christmas - New Year's Holiday Rental - Condo or House
Posted: Thu July 8, 2004 06:48 PM UTC
I am looking to rent a 3 or 4 bedroom condo or house (minimum 3 baths) for winter skiing for 6 nights from Dec. 27/04 checkout Jan. 2/05. I am looking for a location near the ski bus shuttle or within walking distance of the lifts, at a rate not to exceed approx. $350-450 per night.

I would welcome your ideas. Thank you.

Mammoth Lakes La to Mammoth
Posted: Fri April 4, 2003 01:05 PM UTC
Does anyone know an easy, yet not too expensive, way to get to Mammoth Lakes from Los Angeles (and back)?
A) I do not drive, so can't get there by rental car.
B) I want to go on a Wednesday, but can only find busses that go on a Saturday
C) as I am only going for 4 days (back to LA on Sunday), I dont want to be wasting my time travelling for more than 9/10 hours.
any help greatly appreciated!

Posted: Thu January 23, 2003 05:33 AM UTC
I need to get from the Bay Area to Mammoth. The planes don't go there. I can't find a bus that goes there. I really don't want to pay for a car for a week. Can you help?
