I'll be staying in Dana Point from 4 - 6 November and was wondering if there are any events happening during my stay that locals would suggest to see/do?
I've posted a meet for Tuesday evening, 4 November but the rest of my time is free till I head for the Amtrak on Thursday when I'll move on down the coast to San Diego. |

Does anybody know of a cheaper place to park overnight than at the harbor parking ($9/day)? We are taking the ferry to Catalina for a week and want to find somewhere cheaper to park. Thanks.

I will be attending a biz. conference later this month (jan 06). The conf. is at the St. Regis. I really don't want to stay there. But have chosen to either stay at the Marriott (cliffs) with no car. Or at the DP Marina Inn & get a car. What do you locals think? Do I really need a car to get from the Marina or Marriott to St. Regis. And what about shopping or other local places. I'll be in town from Thurs. pm & leaving early sun. am. thanks for your help.
