Berkeley Telegraph Avenue Stalls - Permit needed?
Posted: Mon April 21, 2008 06:22 PM UTC
Hey,

Just wondering how one would go about setting up a stall to sell stuff on Telegraph Avenue...

Are there limited spaces? Do you need to obtain some kind of permit? if so where from?

Thanks :)

Berkeley COMMUTE to San Mateo? - living in Berkeley/Oakland
Posted: Tue April 4, 2006 09:08 PM UTC
My girlfriend just got a job in San Mateo (moving from Austin) and we're trying to decide if the Berkeley/Oakland (rockridge) area is going to creat a killer commute in the morning (7:30ish AM)/evenings (5:00ish PM). I live in Rockridge and can get to San Ramon in 35-40 mins; I just don't know if it's worth it for her to live there and drive to San Mateo.

Could somebody please give us some insight into commuting from the East Bay to San Mateo? My gut is to avoid the Bay Bridge and just take the 880 to the San Mateo Bridge, but I just don't know how long this drive can be.

Thank YOU

Berkeley meeting nice people in berkeley
Posted: Mon October 10, 2005 01:13 AM UTC
hello,

my name is christian (25) and i will stay in berkeley for the next two months to improve my english skills.

of course i don't want to hang around at my homestay all the time. because of this i'm searching nice people for a beer, playing a game, clubbing with good (eg rock/independent) music or a student party.

and just a concrete question: how much is a month-ticket with which i can take the BART to san francisco?

kind regards,

christian
