We are bringing a group of 20 to Germany in the spring of 2007. We are looking for a place to stay from Good Friday thru Easter Sunday that is close to the Rhein for a good cruise down the Rhein, not too far from the Frankfurt airport, and an easy drive to Kaiserslautern.

We looked at Bingen, but the NH hotel is not highly recommended. Is there a smaller town nearby that has reasonably-priced rooms with a nice atmosphere? We are staying Thursday evening at Liebenstein Castle; however, they can't accommodate us for Friday.

We're afraid after a charming hotel like Liebenstein the group will have a disappointment in their last accommodation before they leave on Monday.

Do you have a suggestion for us?

We are staying in Bacharach. We are coming from Koln in the morning. We would like to stop at St. Goar and see Rheinfels Castle. We would love to take a round trip cruise of the Rhine River from St. Goar to Bacharach or Bacharach to St. Goar. Please remember we are staying in Bacharach for the night. So we need a round trip cruise.


Any suggestions for the best way to do this?

Any help would be appreciated.

We're going to be staying at the NH Hotel on Sunday night, 19 June. The reservation has been made for us so we can meet up with my father and his band, and we can spend the evening with them.

Will we be happy? What should we expect?

Any idea how close this is to the Loreley (Lorelei?) concert venue?

Anything we should know?

We will be in Europe on the Rhein in August of this year and would LOVE to stay in a castle for a night. Since Bingen is at the end of our journey, we trying to find a direct website for Castle (Burg) Klopp to research availability and rates.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
