I know there is a ferry from Mobile to Dauphin Island, but I'm looking for a little longer trip. Does anyone know of any ferry along the gulf coast that will ferry you to Mexico or something similar? I'm just looking to go on some type adventure, so any suggestions are welcome :)

Just arrived in Mobile on a, well spur of the moment type of getaway. The downteown area is beautiful, but I'm wondering how I can get myself and my friend on a ship down here. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

We are arriving Mobile on 15 JUl 06 and would like to find either three separate rooms or a suite that will sleep six adults. We also need to find a hotel that has extended parking and transportation to the Port of Mobile as we are going on a cruise with Carnival. We are members of AAA and are military retired.

hey i lived in mobile for a while it is a good place to be so has anything bad happened there lately

I am considering a trip to Mobile in April 2005 to see the exhibit of the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center, the exhibit ends April 24. My idea of budget is $75 or less per night for two adults with free parking and continental breakfast. Anyone have suggestions? I would also consider accommodations on the east side of Mobile Bay, for example Fairhope.

Also any suggestions on restaurants that should not be missed in Mobile area?
