Travelling from Talkeetna to Anchorage in April

Hi!
My partner and I are spending our honeymoon travelling around Alaska in April. We want to go from Talkeetna to Anchorage on 21st April but are having trouble figuring out how to do it. I don't mind hiring a car and driving down, but I was hoping that there might a bus/train service so that I could take in all the scenery!
Any suggestions?

There are several glacier pilot operations in Talkeetna. Have you had a particularly wonderful experience with any of them? Which trip flying around Denali and landing on a glacier do you recommend? Any other information about those trips?

I need to get myself and my 4 year old daughter from anchorage to talkeetna without hiring a car as we'll have transport once we've reached your good selves. Limited budget - thats what kids do to you- and we'll be knackered after the flight from Scotland! (I trust your judgement as locals rather than an agents). Aye yours. Hazel
