I understand that there is a town of Alesund. Is this town close to NY Alesund?

I use elbow crutches but can walk only a short distance. I will be visiting N.Y.Alesund via a cruise 7/11. Is it possible for me to use either my small electric scooter or a wheelchair to follow the designated route around the town please?
Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks. |
