I understand that you can get a train from Nis to Istanbul. Is it necessary to book a seat or can we just get a ticket on arrival. Is train the best way to get from Nis to Istanbul,or is there a better way(it must be inexpensive).

Hello all
I saw a little article on Wikitravel which mentioned the 'Serbian Wartime Parliament Building - Birthplace of Yugoslavia' as being located in Nis. It didn't give any details of it's location in the city. Can someone tell me the address. I'll be in Nis next week an di'm very keen on seeing this building!
Many thanks
DG

Hi everyone
Just found out there are super deals to get to Pirot or Nis.
I want to ask which is better Pirot or Nis? My first research showed that in Pirot there are less accommodation options. Is there good nature around both of them?
Please list which sightseeings you have visited and what they're about.
I would be thankful for any responses, so please share your Nis or Pirot's experience.

Hey guys
I want to go from Nis to Sibiu/Romania. Are there any connections by train or bus?
And do I also have to get this police paper if I am EU-citizen (Austria), that stays for only a day?
thanks!

Anybody have an idea for some basic but affordable accommodation near Nis centre ? The prices at places like the Ambassador are a bit optimistic.
B & B; Hostels; private houses ? Required for September 2009.

Hallo,
next week with friends we are going to travel to Nis by car and then we would like to take the night train Nis - Bar. Can somebody advise me how to book sleeping places and a place for the car in advance? I suppose at this time advance booking is recommendable? Should I contact a tourist agency? Which one?
thanks in advance
kind regards from Sofia,
Borislav

Hello, next august I'm going to Nis, and I would like to known if there, there are music schools, or another place where I can play the piano. I don't want receive classes, I only want a room with a piano where I can practice my songs.
My piano teacher say me that is possible that someone lets me play the piano at his/her house. Is it possible? Does anybody know about anyone that has piano?
Thank you very much!!

Hello,
I'm planning to travel from Thessaloniki, Greece to Podgorica. Is there a bus from Nis to Podgorica? This way, I will be able to get off the Thessaloniki-Beograd train at Nis and get the bus, instead of going to Beograd, and get to Podgorica from there. If there is a bus, does anyone know the exact route of it and how long does the journey last? Is the bus station at Nis very far away from the train station? Thank you in advance,
Giorgos

Hello
I'm visiting Nis for the first time in 13 years. Can anyone tell me if they know of any decent/affordable hotels in town? Also, i will be travelling by city bus to Popovac so if anyone knows of a good website with schedules and routes, that would be great. Thanks.
