Visiting Yalta Posted: Mon July 23, 2007 11:51 AM UTC
hi there,
I will be coming to Yalta in the beginning of August and I'm intended to stay at Yalta Hotel Complex. I've check their website but would like to get some info from someone who has stayed there.
My second question is: what is the best/cheapest way to go from Simferopol Airport to this hotel or to Yalta in general.... cost of tax, bus etc...
Appreciate any comments.
Cheers

Hi,
I will be taking a cruise this summer, arriving at the following ports, Yalta, Sochi, Odessa, Constanta.
Since we only have 1 day would you suggest we take an organized tour or go around by ourself? Also can we find local tour operators at the habor?
Thanks

A hotel with Internet access Posted: Wed May 24, 2006 01:08 PM UTC
I have to find a hotel with 24/7 Internet access in a room.
Some of them offer Internet access as a separate service, i.e. somewhere in the hall and I don't expect it to be really available.
Could anyone name a hotel with such service? Actually I would go anywhere in Crimea to let my daughter have a vacation while I work...
So I am interested not only in Yalta's hotels.
Or are there any other reliable options of Internet acces in anywhere in Crimea? Points of access?

Lodging in Yalta Posted: Sat February 19, 2005 04:45 PM UTC
I come regularly to Yalta in the summer time. I enjoyed this town a lot. The lodging conditions are getting worse and worse every year. At the beginning I was renting quite good flats close to the beach for about 35 $ a day. Last summe it aws up to 100 $ a day. Hotels are even more expensive. Any tips, suggestions or help to beat up the inflation in flats renting ? Best regards. Herve from France

Is there a park with wood-carvings nearby Yalta ?? Posted: Sat October 19, 2002 10:03 PM UTC
I visited a park, beautifully surrounded by man-sized wooden figures - - and many figures of fairytales made of wood - - more than 18 years ago... I think it was in YALTA - maybe it was in ODESSA ?? It was an excursion with the crew-bus in a port in Black Sea, that is for sure - - but I could not find any more infos about it so far. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anybody may help me ???
