Engelberg Engelberg vs Lucerne- Which one to stay?
Posted: Sat February 3, 2007 01:39 AM UTC
Hi There, I will be in Switzerland in April 2007 (18th-21st), and wanting to staying the Lucerne area. I had originally thought I would call Lucerne 'home', but am now wondering if Engelberg is the better city to stay in. Any thoughts?
I know its certainly closer for Mt Titlis, but further away for Zurich.
So does anyone have a preference?? Which is the better to stay for three days in?

Engelberg Accomodation in Engelberg
Posted: Mon November 6, 2006 09:54 PM UTC
Hello, I'm planning on visiting Engelberg to go snowboarding around the 23rd of December. Does anyone know of any budget accomodation (hostels or b&b's). We plan to arrive early the first day, snowboard all day, stay in Engelberg that night, then snowboard all the next day. So we'll just need one night for 2 of us. Want somewhere nice but not too expensive!

Thanks for your help...

Engelberg From engelberg to Graz
Posted: Wed May 3, 2006 07:45 AM UTC
Hi!

I'll be visiting Engelberg around June and will spend about 2 days there. After that i need to go immediately to Austria (Graz). Is there any airplane or train from engelberg to Graz/vienna. Or should i go to Zurich first and get the plane from there? which one is easier and cheaper?
Any idea is welcome :)

Thanks.

Engelberg Good deal...yes or no
Posted: Fri April 21, 2006 11:10 PM UTC
I just looked on a swiss website and found a place in Engelberg for 89 swiss franc a night which also included a lift ticket as well as using the pool and climbing wall facilities. I was just going to stay at a hostel in Lucern and head on up to the mountains for a day trip but this sounded interesting. The hotel is Hotel Bellevue.

Thanks a lot for any advice on this.

Engelberg price to ride the gondolas up the titlus montain?
Posted: Tue June 1, 2004 01:08 AM UTC
Hi, We took the gondolas up Titlus 10 years ago and are returning in September and would like to know the cost now for this ride. Also if possible the easiest route by car from Steckborn and the probable length of time for the drive. Thank You
