Hello , we are 2 of us, and very interested in the Dzukijos region. and would like to visit beautiful rural villages with real food and old culture.people making cheese and bread , mushrooms and berries etc.
we are am not interested in big hotels and shopping, and would like to see the real nature and ancient customs and earthy village people who we feel comfortable with. Of course fresh air and good food is also a important! The Dzukijos region looks very rich in folk lore and tradition and it will be a pity to miss it. We travelled thru the Balkans and there was always people willing to give us food and accomadation, in their house for around 15 euro's or less. Is there any non comercial "old ladies" renting out rooms in the country some where around Dzukijos ? Any help will be appreciatted Thank you |
