Is there bus service from Marco Polo Airport, Venice, to Central Trieste? If so, how often does it run and/or where can I find more information about the connection?

What is the best way to get to Trieste (or Villa Opicina) from Maribor, Slovenia, on Sunday. It looks like there is not any bus or other public transport on Sunday. Do you have any advice or some kind of proposition?

Are there any buses, trains or Ferries that leave Trieste that will eventually get me to Rome? I am travelling around the 10th, 11th Sep[tember this year.
I'm an amateur film photographer who recently moved to Trieste from the US. Are there any places in the city where I can get my film processed? I don't usually get prints when I get film developed, I just get discs with JPG files. Will they do that for me?
Planning short trip to Trieste in the Spring. Am hoping for an evening at the theatre. I don't want to book on-line tickets. Is is best to enquire about tickets at the theatre booking office or can they be bought from the tourist office or other agency?
I'm arriving in Trieste late at night by bus from Bulgaria.
Am thinking about booking Hotel Alabarda, Via Valdirivo. Can see it on map and understand that it's near the railway station. However, have emailed eurolines (phoning them is hopeless) because I need to know where their buses come in (name of street). No reply.
Does anybody know? I really don't want to take a taxi, would rather walk.
I don't want to book anything until I know because arriving late at night, in an unfamilar town, can sometimes be unpleasant.
I want to travel from Trieste to Venice Marco Polo Airport not by train but by bus. Because I have a flight from Marco Polo Airport at 6:55am, so want to reach there at 4o'clock in the morning. Please let me know there is any bus service from Trieste to Venice Marco Polo Airport which will take me there at around 4am?
I am wanting to take my friend to Trieste as a surprise in March 2009. A lot of the hotels I have tried seem to be unavailable and I was wondering if maybe it was because they are closed as its out of season, or maybe there could be some event going on (I seem to remember seeing something about a cycling event in March but I dont know what dates).
Can anyone advise me if March is an OK time to go, are restaurants/bars etc open?
Is Trieste an expensive place to eat and drink?
Is it easy to get from the airport to the centre of Trieste?
Any information is very much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

we are a couple who want to visit Udine in November 2008. we would like to stay in a convent with nun. Are there any such convents that give accomodation to travellers. thank you.
I had posted a question earlier about car rentals in Trieste, to take a quick trip into Slovenia & Croatia. The process sounds like a bit of a hassle. If I came into Trieste (some time in March 2009) by train around 10 in the morning, and needed to be back at the train station by 6 PM, what would be the possibility of hiring someone to drive me to Slovenia & Croatia? Basically, I simply want to take some pictures at the borders of those two countries. Then, if there was enough time, perhaps a brief tour of highlights of Trieste. I would be very happy to pay for gas and lunch and/or dinner. Does any of this sound possible? Basically, I'm looking for a local person who is a good driver and trustworthy to give me a quick tour. Thanks in advance for any help !!
Hi, am off to Trieste on Sunday to Wednesday with my boyfriend and am hoping for some random suggestions of things to see and do. Also - how to get to a beach easily via public transport and is there any chance of the water being warm enough to go for a dip? Are there any food or flea markets around? I believe I'm staying quite near the train station. Thanks!!
My fiance and I would like to get married in Italy, and we are looking at Trieste, particularly the seaview castle. First, is the castle's name Miramare? Second, is it a good location to have a wedding? We're also looking at the Amalfi Coast. We will be visiting in November of this year and if Trieste and the Amalfi Coast are somewhat the same, we may not visit Trieste, since it's further away. Any advice would be extremely helpful!!!
