Aloha!

Is there an S-Bahn that connects Hannover (near central train station) to Hildesheim (train station or specifically Noah Cafe am Hohnsensee)?

During October I am visiting friends both in Hannover and Hildesheim and want to decide whether to stay the entire time in Hannover and "commute" to Hildesheim or to stay some days in Hildesheim and some days in Hannover.

If there is such a connection via S-Bahn, how much does it cost?

This August i'm going to visit Hannover and i need to go from Hannover bus station to train station and then to go to Alfeld. Is it a long distance between these objects? Is it easy to find the way?

I am travelling with car from Netherlands to Hannover to see Herrenhausen Gardens in hannover. I read on garden website that garden is in environmental zone and I need yellow or green sticker on my car. I am not staying in germany and then how I can get such sticker for my car ?

I am looking for a place in Hannover that is open all night on a Saturday to Sunday night and allows me to sit in the warmth until my train departs at 6 am from Hbf. McD's, a Turkish restaurant, etc.

I thought about going to the airport, but at the time the concert ends that I am attending there will be no S-Bahn to the airport and I cannot afford a taxi, much less a hotel. The two youth hostels in Hannover are both full already.

We have a tournament we woukd kije to go in Hannover on March 14th and 15th. I looked at all low cost airlines and only Air Berlin flies there and the rate right now is like 180€ each. Can someone give me a list of Low cost airlines that come to Hannover? Maybe I am missing one with a real deal.

Also, any big city (such as Frankfurt) near? Maybe we can fly to a mearby city and then move by train.

If i purchase a ticket online at www.bahn.de, is it an e-ticket which i can print out and use as my ticket or it has to be mailed/couriered to me?

Also, does one have to print it off instantly or you are e-mailed the ticket?

My husband and I will be traveling to Germany for the first time. The first few days I will be in business meetings while my husband explores. After the meetings are over, I would like to "dump" some luggage as we will be spending the next week backpacking around Germany. Is there a safe place in the Hannover train station or airport where I could store one or two small suitcases for a week?

If I arrive into Hannover at 16:55 hrs and need to catch the Bahn from terminal 1, level 0 at 18:40 hrs, is that possible? Or is that much time for baggage etc not sufficient?

Also, on the bahn webiste, if I want to enter the Fraknfurt International airport station in the to/from it gives me Frankfurt(M). Is that the right one?

My plans have recently changed and I am now going to be in Hanover for just one morning. My flight arrives at 11pm on friday night and my train leaves at 1pm the next day, so I really dont have much time.

Please can you suggest what I must see in Hanover in just one morning?

Also, What is the best way to get to a hotel in Hanover from the airport at around midnight? I hear that the train is good, but how much does this cost and is it safe around the station on a night?

Me and my wife and going to arrive in Hannover September 28th for 3 complete days. My wife is interested in seeing many Castles, I understand there are many castles close to Hannover or a quick rail ride.. Do you know if it is possible to takes tours from Hannover to visit some castles? Thank you very much.

My son is traveling to Hannover on business. Someone suggested he take a weekend trip to Prague or Amsterdam. Does anyone have information on transportation to either city? Would train or car be better, and how long would it take to get to either one? I was hoping Hannover would be close enough to Rothenburg, the Black Forest, and/or the Alps, as those are all places I've been to and would recommend. However, in looking at maps, I don't know if it would be very possible in a weekend to make those trips worthwhile. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks. Ann

Can you give info on trains from Hanover airport to Braunschweig main station or buses if that is simpler?

In 1965 I used to walk by the Leipnitz Temple in the park and feed the ducks. Is the temple still there ?
