I started to update my hotel tips and I ahve tried to find the hotel in Gyor where I stayed in 1997 but can't find it (mainly because I don't remember the name...). I'm wonderning if it still is there because I would like to stay there with my family some day again...

I can't remember the address but the hotel was more like a pension, situated in the Old Town area and the colour of the house was blue. We stayed there for 2 nights and had really great time in Gyor area :)

I’ll be in Gyor 12-14 July and we will stay in Fortunatus (Kando Kalman 15b). Who knows is this location far from the center of the city? Is there public transport from Fortunatus to the center? Is it possible to see tourist attractions in Gyor by walk? What do you recommend to see in Gyor? I’m interested in relax and sightseeing.
Is it possible to rent a car in Gyor (with low price) and turn it in Budapest? And who knows about a coach or a train to Budapest – how much time does it take?
