Hi! I'm visiting Brasov in the spring but I don't have so much money. We will be group of 3 persons. Cheapest accommodation I found was 20$/person/night. I don't need anything luxury or some nightlife. I just want CHEAP place to stay overnight.

When you know something cheaper tell me please!!

I would like know about New year nigh in Brasov. Is where any disco clubs or pubs will be open? And which is best in Brasov?
I worry what we cant find any funny place in that night and it will be boring.

Anyone know the general cost of a first class sleeping room for 2 on the EuroNight from Budapest to Brasov? What about second class? What are the differences between the two? Thanks in advance for all help.

HI all I'm new here and am looking for some advice. I am travelling to Brasov in Oct and would welcome some advice re areas in Brasov to avoid in terms of renting a little place for the week. It is my first time travelling out there and I am soo exited, that I have bought some Romanian language tapes (I have never done that before when visiting other countries in Europe). Also if anyone has any cheapish recommendations for especially staying in residents homes I would be especially interested.

Also, does anyone know if you can actually rent ski suits from there?

I am planning on bringing a large group (25 to 30 adults) by train to Brasov in November and I need a recommendation for a great place to have breakfast on the morning we arrive. I prefer to start off our visit to Brasov at a restaurant in a building of historical significance/setting or some other amenity that can impress the group (i.e., location with view). A coach will be bringing us from the railway station to the restaurant. Can someone give me a great recommendation for offering breakfast that is also at a good price?

I need to rent a coach in November for my group of 30 adults. We will be traveling 2 1/2 days touring Romania from Brasov to Bucharest. Does anyone have a suggestion of a reputable coach company I can contact to get a good quote?

I've read a lot about the good quality of Romanian violins and have seen somewhere that there should be retailers in Brasov. I see these 2 names mentioned in various places across the internet when it comes to accommodation in Brasov, but I can't seem to find their contacts or other specific details anywhere. What sort of accommodation do they provide? Apartments? Or are they just particularly friendly and helpful local travel agents? As I've mentioned, information is scattered and unclear.

So, I would like to ask all you romanaian experts what you would recommend for a 1 night stay in Brasov. I'm looking at this place called Casa Tepes, but am also very open to other options.

I have narrowed my lodging options down. i see there is a two star hotel (Hotel Coroana) and two 1-star lotes that are well-located (Hotel Aro Sport and Hotel Postavarul)

I also see some other cheap hotels are Hotel Transilvania, Hotel Stadion, and Hotel Tampa, but they seem to be not as good options.

Do thebetter options (listed at the top) usually fill up in the summer?

I also heard that two locals that often meet tourists at the train station are: 1) Maria Bolea 2) a man named Gabriel. I hear that both of these charge 10 Euro per person. Are those prices correct? Are those two private lodgings better than the Hotel Aro Sport and Hotel Postavarul, or are they just cheaper?

I am a student from Macedonia. I should go in Brasov on 27th of July and stay there till 8th of August. So i was wondering does anyone know how much is a bus ticket from Skopje to Brasov,and is there one for 27th. That means that i should be in Brasov on 27th. It doesn't have to be direct bus line.
