I am travelling to Lodz for 3 - 4 days during July. what are the option to go for a run. I will be staying in the Centre of Lodz in the Grand Hotel and will be dependant on taxi so i'd prefer running routes that are local to the city area.

I have been in Lodz a number of times before but always during the Winter time.

Could any one offer me on advice as to the best way to get from Lodz airport to Warsaw and how much this is likley to cost?

I know you can take a train from Lodz to Warsaw direct in 1 hr 40 min but not sure how much this costs or how to get from the airport to the train station.

I would like to ask if anyone knows how regular train / bus services are from Lodz to Krakow and roughly how long they take and how much it costs.

Have been offered chance to transfer jobs to Lodz and in particular the region of Olechow - has anyone any ideas of what sort of area this is - is it very industrial/dangerous/close to city centre etc?

Just can't find any resouces on internet relating to the area so would really appreciate any feedback?

I know this is a bit of a long shot but I am trying to trace family of my father Aleksander Kaminksi. I beleive he took his mother's surname when he was deported from Poland to Siberia in 1939.
I think he was from a village called Luszki.

Any informatation would be welcome

I am trying to find the address of a bar in Lodz. It is called 'Narcossis' or something very similar. It has a sea/diving theme. It is off Wolczanska - maybe Zwirki. Can someone help?

I will be in Lodz in early January staying at the Grand Hotel. Is it possible to run there at this time of year or is it too slippery underfoot on the pavements? Is it permissable to run on the grass in parks? Is the forest far away? Djiekuje in advance.
