We are considering stopping in Marmari rather than Athens for the last 2 nights of our island hopping in June this year. Do the ferries between marmari and rafina ever get cancelled due to the weather. We do not fancy paying for a taxi from marmari to the airport if the ferry is not running. Any advice please before we book our room in marmari.

We are planning to stop in Karystos for a couple of nights in June this year.Do the ferries still run from Rafina direct to Karystos or will we have to go to Marmari and get a bus to Karystos. Internet searches don't show that this ferry still runs. Any suggestions please?

We are due to visit Chalkida for a wedding in June and have been booked in to the best western Lucy Chalkis, but wasnt sure if this was ok? Also, our flight back is 4 days after our friends wedding, she is from Chalkida and thinks we shoud stay on there for the rest of our holiday after they go back to the UK but her soon to be husband has seperatly reccomended that he thinks we should spend the rest of our holiday in Athens. Not wanting to cause a argument beween them I was looking for some independant advice please?

which is the schedule for Glifa-Agiokambos ferry in 7-9 July(first and last hours) and for Volos ferry( we are arriving from Salonic) Thank you

Can you help with information on travel from Athens airport to Rafina,is there a bus connection,what times does it run, are flight lands at 20.20.Will we have to stay in Athens then travel next day or will be able to travel on to Rafina after are flight lands.Can you advise on an hotel in Rafina.Any other info; you can give us on an Evia property buying holiday.

Please can someone help me. I'm trying to find out where the Kanithos Sport Hall is in Chalkida. I am told that it is just across the bridge from Evia. I am desperate for the address, and would appreciate a street map. Please can you respond to me at mwksimymona@mweb.co.za
