My fiance and I will be starting our honeymoon in Mykonos during the second half of October. I know this is into the off-season...

1) Can anyone recommend a beach with chairs and even better a bar that will be open in the second half of October? I've been to Paranga Beach before and had a blast. Do you think the club there will still be open in October?

2) What is the best way to tour Delios? I'd like to pay extra for a private tour if they're worth it.

Any other suggestions for a Mykonos honeymoon in October would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

My husband and I are going to Mykonos in 2 weeks, and would love to find a more secluded, white sand beach away from the majority of the tourists. We would enjoy a beach bar, but not with the masses. Is this possible in Mykonos?? We are staying at Petassos Beach Resort. Any suggestions of beaches nearby?

We are a group of 7 friends and would like to travel around the island of Mykonos. We are arriving in Mykonos on the 17th of September and leave on the 21st. We will be residing in Paradise Beach Resort, Paradise Beach. How easy will it be to travel around the main tourist attractions using the bus network please? We definately would like to visit Mykonos Town, Little Venice and The Windmills. We also would like to enjoy the nightlife, therefore please inform us about the availability of transport from Mykonos Town and Little Venice back to Paradise Beach till late hours (let's say 4am). Also we would appreciate if someone can link us to the fares / timetable for each tour. We have checked the website but its really lacking details!

I'm trying to decide which prepaid debit card to take out for our forthcoming trip to Kokkari. My choice depends on whether I can use Mastercard in restaurants or will need to draw cash from an ATM, on a frequent basis, to pay our bills. The FairFX card has a better exchange rate but charges for ATM withdrawal while the CaxtonFX card doesn't have such a good exchange rate (yesterday it was €5.75 less per £500 than the FairFX one) but doesn't charge €1.50 per ATM withdrawal.

My question is, how do I get from Airport to the pirues? I will arrive at the airport at 2:00 in the night. The boat to Milos from pireus goes at 7:00 in the morning,

please help us, we dont want to take taxi.

Our ship arrives in Santorini at 4pm and leaves at 11pm. Are there any wineries still open? Any recomendations on what to do in the evenings. I will have my daughters (18/21)with us. As far as I can see the 18 year old can go into bars and drink with us. Anybody know of a place where 40ish parents can hang with the younger crowds and both be happy? My husband and I both love to dance/drink etc.. and don't mind the girls drinking and having fun with us, just don't want a place that would be "inappropriate".

My dream is to take a cruise ship out of New York to go to Greece and Turkey. I do notknow where to start - live in Hawaii but no problem to get to New York (except money of course). Have done several rick Steves' tours to Italy (fantastic)but quite a senior and this time want someone to carry my luggage to my room in on a tour. Senior but healthy and active. Any ideas?

We've decided to spend 3 days in Santorini in September and was wondering on the best places to stay and what to do. I have found a great looking hotel in Kamari (Anassa Deluxe Suites). Is that a good place/area to stay? Also, are tours necessary or is taking buses or hiring a car better? I assume driving isn't difficult seeing as I drive in Dubai?!

We are two girls in our late twenties. We basically want somewhere with some good nightlife (not too rowdy!!), things to do and see and have some relaxation.

We are planning a family (of 4) cruise to Venice,Italy; Split,and Dubrovnick Croatia; Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, Irakilion, Athens and Nafplion Greece; and Ephus, Turkey. We are looking for ideas for excersions, especially ones not related to ship. We are wondering about getting cab, bus etc. at ports and going off on our own. any suggestions? Also any ideas about safety, prices etc. would be helpful!

Help. Need assistance in selecting a hotel for 4 nights in Athens, either 3 or 4 star, preferably $100 USD or less a night and with a Plaka or Syntagma Square location. I want to book this for the Spring of 2010.

has anyone stayed at the helena christina hotel/apartments on rhodes island and if so what was your stay like. I have been unable to find any reviews on this hotel just their own website.

Do you know, if it possible to drive around the ways to the goods beachs, by motorhome, RV ? Or are there some ways only you can go by car, but not by motorhome?

Hi everybody!! I'm going to Greece and need some advice about how many days to spend in Crete, Santorini and Rodhes. Which is the minimun that you recommend me? I like to walk in the old town and see the castle and the churchs, drinking coffe and visit the market. I wont spend time taking sun bath in the beach. I prefer walk a lot and see as much as I can. It is OK 3 days Santorini, 3 days Rodhes and 6 days Crete (Heraclion and Chania)? Do you know if it is easy to visit these places without a car? There are good buses betwen cities? We will be in the Greek Islands for 2.5 weeks in October. We are looking for local skippers to take us sailing. Of the following islands which would be the best for sailing and snorkling?
Mykonos, Santorini, Crete or Naxos? This is one thing we are very interested in doing and hope for some assistance.

I've realised that Greece is such a huge country. My friend and I plan to visit for 1 week, but we are not into beaches, instead, we prefer more of the historical & natural / cultural sites of Greeks. Can anyone give a suggestion where in Greece should we focus on, apart from Athen?

Has anyone used one of the Private Tour Operators who advertise all over the internet. such as Private Taxi Tours, or the people at www.greece-private.com?
If yes, how were and if anyone knows if they are licensed or not.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to an itinerary for Greece for a very short time? We will be arriving at 9.30pm on the Thursday and leaving at 4.50pm on the Monday. We want perhaps a mixture of cultural and beach/relaxation. We are 2 girls in our late 20s.

The way I see it is that we can stay in Athens and do day trips the whole time or do a 3 day cruise and 1 day in Athens to see the Acropolos.
