I've been planning to travel to Patmos after my scheduled retire from work. I guess it would be the best way to spend time with my whole family. if anybody could just advice me on what documents might be needed so that i could come here from the philippines. Thanks..God Bless...

Hello guys,
We're going to arrive to Corinth by train from Athens and then continue to Loutraki. Where the local bus to Loutraki stops (how to find said stop)? What could be the approximate timetable and the cost of bus ticket Corinth-Loutraki. Would greatly appreciate the info.

arriving Athens in 26th August 2012 lunch time.Fly to rhodes Sept 2nd am. Love to do, Nafpolio, Sparta, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora and Athens. Am I being unrealsitic? Hiring a car to get around- what is best options? Never been Greece before will do 3 days Rhodes and 4 days crete before flying out on the 7th september.

I am getting married in June 2012 and staying at the Aquila Rithymna Beach.
Could anyone recommend a restaurant close to this hotel to host our wedding meal for approx 50 people (this includes children)?

I visited Delphi a couple of weeks ago - I had a great time. I know this sounds crazy, but I met the cutest kitten i would love to take home to live a long and healthy life in California. I have to go back to Athens in a couple of weeks so I was wondering if anyone has ever done anything like this. I know you need to have a vet check them out a month before you come to the US (which would be a challenge).
I know this sounds crazy, but I thought I would try. Does anyone take care of them or feed them right now? It would be great to help this kitten that was so friendly. Thanks!

Hi all,
We are planning a 5 day trip to the Greek Islands during the 2nd week of March 2012 and have just realised it isn't the best time to be at the islands, however our flights are all booked already...so I am hoping for recommendations on which island would be open during that time, and would have the warmest weather and the least rain?
I have heard that Skiathos and Skopelos are beautiful however they are probably the smaller islands that are not open during March...I have also heard Crete is good. Any thoughts?

I would like to ask if there are any theme parks in Greece and which parts of Greece would be perfect for a family of about 8, including two children aged 8 and 6.
I am planning to make the trip in Dec, next month.
I would also like to check with you the kind of clothes to be worn during this season.

I m travelling to Greece for business. I have a meeting near Nafplio.
Kindly guide me how can I reach there by bus.
I will arrive in Athens in the afternoon and need to reach nafplio early morning the next day and return back to Athens the same day evening.
Kindly let me know the hotels near the bus terminal and also the site where I can c the schduele.

hello my question has two directions concerning my next stay in Thessa: first: do you know of any place or person who does temporary henna tatoos?second: which are the new funky restaurants that do not imply heavyyyyyyy and extremely ellaborate food, but more like funky vegetarian or new cuisine without extreme pretentious attitudes? I am taking a gap year and going all over Europe next year and am pretty clueless about everything at the moment!
I want to go from Italy to Greece, but what type of transport is best (boat, plane)? And where abouts in Greece does that take you?
Also what is a rough cost of this?
I will also need to get back to Italy as well.

I've heard that there are at lest two chopping centers in Katerini for cheap china goods where you can by on wholesale. There is also this Leather Centro where you can by some cheap leather products.
can anybody give me the right address on this locations?

We're considering a visit to Santorini for Christmas week. would love suggestions for a nice hotel. We'll likely rent a car so I'm not too worried about long walks to get to what action there might be.
Will there be enough places open - live music anytime - restaurants etc.?

After, in honour of the Great God of the Greek Seas, we will adjourn to a local fish taverna to celebrate with fresh fish, some great Greek wine or Ouzo and lots of great VT chattering in VT style. Hi all Just to let you know, that if you travel to Greece there is an General 24 hrs strike of the airtrafic control with serious knock back effects in the country and Eastern Medeteranian....
Athens Airport is mayham...
Please check your travel plans and adjust them acordingly...

My wife and I (seniors) are thinking of taking a cruise in Spring or Summer of 2012 that goes to Istanbul, Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos, Crete and Athens. We are wondering if anyone can tell us which months are best weather-wise and which should be avoided. We have heard it can get quite windy and/or rainy in the Aegean so would like to choose wisely. Thank you.

We will be traveling to Greece with our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grans (age 9 and 12) in early June 2012. We were thinking that 4 nights would be perfect. Can anyone recommend a hotel with a family room for 6? Or would we be better off renting a private villa. Cost is a consideration...We're hoping to spend about 400 euros a night for lodging. Wondered how easy/difficult it was to get around Kalymnos by public transport. We have been twice before but hired scooters. Is there a map of the bus routes. Can you reach the more remote areas by bus.

If so did you have a great room (GR) , a rubbish room (RR) or the best room in the hotel (BR).

We are thinking about taking an excursion from our Ireland vacation next April to hop a flight somewhere in Europe and were thinking about visiting Greece. I've heard in April many of the tourist/beach areas can be closed or not much going on. We'd still like to go, any suggestions on where? Are hotels typically open? I was looking at Zante but would consider anywhere on the coast area. We have a 4 1/2 year old child, so we aren't into the party scene... Thanks.
