Hi
I will be arriving in Rotterdam at the end of August 2007 on a cruise ship for the day with my fiance. I have already been to Amsterdam several times, so will give that a miss this time, and wondered if anyone could recommend things to do and see in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam Surrogate Family
Posted: Mon April 16, 2007 11:50 AM UTC
I want to live in Roterdam for the Month of June 2007 to work on the biography of a musician who teaches at the conservatory. I am looking for a family (preferably Indian)who can give me a place to live in. In exchange I can give flute lessons as I am a classically trained bamboo flute player or I can offer a room and meals at Kolkata India for a similar period of 1 month.

If no such place can be worked out what are the PG accommodations available near the conservatory for the month of June ?

Rotterdam Transportation questions
Posted: Thu March 29, 2007 03:48 AM UTC
Hi -
I will be traveling to Rotterdam by plane on Monday, April 2nd. My flight arrives at 17:45. I need to travel to Hotel New York to drop off my bags, then on to Ketelaarsstraat 9c (near Leuvehaven) by 19:00.

Can someone tell me a) if it's possible to do this in that amount of time and b) what is the best way to get from the airport to Hotel New York (in the most timely fashion) - I'm assuming I can take the watertaxi from Hotel New York to Ketelaarsstraat.

I appreciate your replies (I start traveling tomorrow, so the sooner the better!)

If someone have a time to show me the city and to make VT meeting, I would appreciate it. I am now in Den Haag.

Rotterdam best location for a hotel
Posted: Mon May 1, 2006 05:35 PM UTC
Hey!
I shall come with my girlfriend to Rotterdam for the big jazz event: http://www.northseajazz.nl/index.en.asp
In the morning and during daytime we would like to make short trips to Utrecht, Delft etc
Now here's our question - which area would you reccommend for the accommodation?
The jazz festival seems to take place not in the centre... But train station seems to be in the centre...
If you can name any (not expensive) hotel or B&B, we would be very thankful!

Rotterdam looking for accommodation
Posted: Sun April 9, 2006 08:08 PM UTC
Hi everyone,

I have been looking through this post and went to some of the suggested sites, but still have no look in finding accommodation for starting mid-May 2006 to Dec 2006.
I'm a 24 yr old female from Toronto. I'm quiet and organize, and I am looking for a room or studio near Heer Bokelweg. My hoping price range will be 300-600 euros per month. I am a master student and I will be working in Rotterdam for about 6 months.

If anyone is interested, or have any suggestions on which posting sites (english) to look for, I really appreciate it!
Thanks !
