Hi all,

Can anyone please advise any information on travelling from Lvov to either Chisinau or Tiraspol? There doesn't seem to be many trains, and certainly no trains that don't take a long time. Is there any sort of way to make the journey by road?

Can anyone inform me about latest border regulations/ problems to be expected to cross from Moldova into Tiraspol. We ( EU citizens ) intend to visit Tiraspol by the end of april and only stay for a day.

Which is the easiest way to leave Tiraspol for Odessa?

Hallo. I'm planning a visit to Transdniestria next August, and I'd like to know how could I possibly fill up the papers at the border not knowing a word of Moldovian or Russian. Might that be a problem? I've heard that hardly anybody at the Custom House speaks English. I'm taking a bus from Chisinau; will some of the other local passangers have the opportunity of helping me with that, or it will be just me who will be sent into the office?

Has anyone recently been to Transniestra and Tiraspol? Is the duration of stay still limited to three hrs!? Has anyone managed to obtain a stay permit in Tiraspol and even checked in in a hotel? I'm planning to stay in Transniestria - maybe in Benderi or Tiraspol - for at least one night. Any information would be highly appreciated...
