Hi! I do not even know where to begin. My husband and I are planning on going to Malta in August. We would like to stay in a nice (3-5-star) hotel, but have no idea where! We are young (20s), no kids, so we would love to spend some time at the beach, do some sightseeing and possibly go to some clubs. I read somewhere that you could go to Sicily from Malta, but since we both will need visa to enter Malta, will we be able to enter Sicily? Anyway, ANY information would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Hi, I'm going to Malta (this Saturday)for 1 week . I've understood (see last year posts)sometimes ther're a lot of jellyfish depending on the wind and waves direction. How is the situation now ? Are there usually in some particular areas or everywhere ? (I've two childrens).

Can anybody recommend me a decent and reputable website whereby I can cook a comfortable and reasonably cheap apartment or villa near the seafront in Malta?

I havent quite decided where I want to be yet but I hear many people recommend Gozo..

Hi. Any suggestions for a rental car company for a week in Malta? Understand the buses are a great choice, but my wife gets motion sick on them, and also would like the flexibility of a car.

Actually, same thing and I am 20 , 3 years of teaching english experiance etc.
Half a year of free time.

Decided I want to work and live in Malta for that time.

Speak perfect English, German- beginner, Russian&Ukrainian- home Languages.

Hi, I am come from Slovakia, (20years) study hotel academy and this year I finish this school. I would like to work as waitress or barmaid in Malta. I have experiences asi waitress, barmaid, cook,...Where I can find some summer job ?

My parents love Malta and are desperate to return. However, my father cannot get around unaided and we are trying to find out if it is possible to hire a motorised wheelchair/scooter for the duration of there stay. At present they would like to go to the Santa Maria Hotel in September. Is anyone able to help with this request for information ?

Hi all.

My parents are looking to head to Malta for a week or so, probably in September of this year. They are both in their 60s and would like to stay in a resort that has a fair few restaurants etc, but not so much of the 'younger' night life, as I'm sure you can appreciate!! Can anyone say if Sept is a good time to visit, and recommend a resort for them?

Any other useful info would be useful as well.

Please could anyone offer any advice or knowledge on hotels or guesthouses in this area. We are staying in Gozo and as the reception is late evening we were hoping to be able to "bed" down somewhere for the night.
there is 5 of us, 2 adults one teenager and twin 2yr old girls.
any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am returning to Malta on Feb 4th exactly 12 months since my last visit. I know I should have taken more notice last year but then I was well able to use the busses so I maybe forgiven.

Is the European Blue Badge scheme for disabled drivers running in Malta? I presume the answer is now yes.

Does Malta have parking meters?

Are there special reserved places for disabled drivers?

How 'keen' are your traffic wardens/police?

What is the ferry fare to Gozo for a car and driver?

Does anyone have any usefull tips for disabled driving?

I certainly remember that parking appeared to be chaos and rare in Malta last year and I will certainly be trying to avoid Malta's 'rush hour' .

I am looking forward to getting back to Malta and the greater freedom that a car will hopefully bring. For most people the MTA busses are fantastic but I am more limited in my ability to walk this year and there is so much in Malta I want to see.

My main hobby is photography and I have already htaken most of the tourist type ones but I want to try to capture the real Malta and it's fab, friendly people, so any tips in this respect would be very welcome.

Could you give me any advice about foreign exchange in Malta? Where´s the best place and best rates?

I have been exploring Malta online for over a year. Before I plan a trip to visit Valletta, I was wondering if it is true that I should be able to live comfortably on CN$1200 per month. I would be renting a furnished appartment for f5 - 5 1/2 months of the year. Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I'm finding it difficult getting a realistic sense of the cost of living in Malta. Any help will be appreciated.
