Its myself 19, and two other buddies who are 25 are heading to Ayia Napa in the middle of June. My question is how is the nightlife there, the partying, the girls ;), and just the overall experience. Also, I am 19.. How does that sound for a regular cyprus party.. not too young??? i hope.. Please let me know or reply as soon as possible.

hey im goin to be turning 18 in september but me and my friends are all thinking of going to napa in june. I dont look particularly young or old but am a bit worried we'd feel out of place. I dont think we'd have too much problems getting drinks but from past experience does anyone know if there are many 17,18 year olds there? any help would be great, thanks

im 17 wanting to head of the napa in early june to work but dont know about what to do where to search wondered if anyone can help me.
also wondering about clubs and stuff are they hard to get into and whats the drinking age cause some of my friends my fly out during me working there.

My name is Amy, I am 25 years old and am studying in Cyprus at the start of September for a Semester, on an Exchange program. I come from Australia and none of the other people on the program are coming until just after the Semester starts.

I would love to travel around the Island a bit and check out Paphos, Ayia Napa and Larnaca especially. I am based in Nicosia and havent really checked much out yet!!

I was wondering if theres anyone around in the same age bracket that is travelling around on their own? It would be awesome to have a travel companion. Otherwise if anyone has got any tips about good places to go in Cyprus when you're on your own, or how to meet other people my age around here that would be awesome!!!

We are very excited about our 1st trip to Cyprus - Ayia Napa. We're looking forward to the beach and nightlife, but we are also interested in culture. We want to go to Nicosia, but there seems to have one bus per day only. If I got it right it departs from Napa at 8H00. Should arrive to Nicosia at 9h30? and then the bus back is at 15h00. Is it possible to have an idea of Nicosia highlights in about 5 hrs? Or it would be necessary to take a company tour one-day Nicosia. In the later case at what time do those tours return to Napa? I'm trying to see if its worthy or not the price difference.

Since January 2008 Euro is the official currency, but on websites I still see prices in British pounds and what is most, those prices in £ are much cheaper than Euros given the current exchange rate. For instance Bus return fare Napa Nicosia is priced 12 Euros Vs 7.02 Pounds, making it much cheaper if you pay in pounds.

I'm from an Euro country, should I get pounds to get better deals?

i just got home from a weeks holiday on the 31st may 2008. the place was full of scandinavians and eastern europeans but brits were very scarce compared to when i was there for the same week 2 years ago. i take it to be because of this so called credit crunch and the weak pound against the strong euro. has anyone else noticed this?

We are heading over in the middle of august, but are only in cyprus during the week. Is this fabulous night life during the week or just weekends?? Also wondering about drink prices, entry prices etc. Im also after some good/cheap shopping can anyone suggest anything??

I lived in Famagusta as a child for nearly 10 years, I am taking my daughter to paphos on Holiday this July and would love to take her to Famagusta to show her where I grew up.
Does anyone know how I go about it as I am aware it's in the "No Go Area" (If that's what it's called)
I've been told you can in fact take day trips there, however I cannot find any information on how to get access?

Just wondering can anyone help me, is it possible to fly direct from Dublin to Larnaca on sundays, talkin early june....I went last year on budget travel sat to sat but might have a game on the sat this year so hopin to be able to fly direct out on the sunday....even if anyone cud tell me can u even fly direct to larnaca without package holidays
